Next year could be a big one for foldables, as a new report says that Samsung is planning to launch four foldable devices in 2021.

It's said that Samsung's 2021 foldables lineup will include two devices in the Z Fold family and two in the Z Flip lineup. ETNews says that both models will support 5G, and previous reports have said that Samsung is planning to add S Pen support and an under-display selfie camera to its Galaxy Z Fold 3, too.

We've also heard that Samsung may be planning a "budget model" Galaxy Z Fold Lite that would be a more affordable version of the Z Fold flagship. It's not known exactly how much cheaper this Galaxy Z Fold Lite could be, but there have been some rumblings that suggested its price could be as low as $900, which would be significantly less than the $2000 Galaxy Z Fold 2.

Samsung is also reportedly working on two Galaxy Z Flip devices that'll use a flip phone form factor. Both of these models are expected to have 5G support, too, but they'll have "different performance and features" and will be offered in "high-end and general models". So it sounds like Samsung could be prepping a flagship and a budget model of its Z Flip foldables, too.

The launch of these four Samsung foldables could be sprinkled throughout 2021. Rumors say that the Galaxy Z Fold Lite could arrive in the first quarter of the year, while the flagship Galaxy Z Flip 3 could launch in June. Both versions of the next Galaxy Z Flip are reportedly scheduled to enter production in August.
