Zoom became a hugely important app in 2020, helping people to stay connected with colleagues, friends, and family with video calls. And now Zoom is becoming more useful by becoming available on Google smart displays.
Starting today, Zoom is rolling out on Google's Nest Hub Max. This feature is currently only available in preview form, which explains why it's limited to the Nest Hub Max. If you've got Google's big smart display, you can join the preview program by launching the Google Home app, tapping on your device, tapping on Settings, and then selecting "Preview Program" under the Device Settings section.
Google says that Zoom calls on the Nest Hub Max are available in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia. Both free and paid calls are supported.
The Nest Hub Max isn't the only device with a special Zoom video calling feature. if you've got a Google Wifi or Nest Wifi router, these devices can now auto-detect your video calls on Zoom and Google Meet and prioritize them on your internet traffic to ensure your call quality is as good as it can be.
