Netflix isn't the only streaming service that's raising its prices.
Hulu has revealed that the pricing of its Live TV service will increase soon. The company confirmed to TechCrunch that the Hulu + Live service will increase from $54.99 to $64.99 per month, while the Hulu (No Ads) + Live rate plan will get a price hike from $60.99 to $70.99 per month.
These price increases will take effect on December 18 and will apply to both new and existing subscribers.
Price hikes like these are fairly common with streaming services, especially with live TV streaming services, as the cost for the content grows and so the streaming companies must increase their prices in response. With this latest Hulu Live TV price hike, customers are learning of it a month in advance and have time to decide if they're going to stick with Hulu or change to another service.
