When OnePlus burst onto the smartphone scene, the company attracted a lot of attention with its aggressively priced flagship phones. OnePlus recently returned to those roots with the OnePlus Nord, and now its launching two new, even more affordable Nord phones.
The OnePlus Nord N10 5G (above) and Nord N100 (below) are now official. The Nord N10 5G is the higher-end of the two models, featuring a 6.49-inch FHD+ screen with 90Hz refresh rate and a quad rear camera array that includes a 64MP main camera, an ultra-wide cam with 119-degree field of view, plus macro and monochrome cameras.
Inside the Nord N10 5G is Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 690 processor that includes sub-6GHz 5G support. There's 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage, too, plus a microSD card slot that'll let you add more storage, a feature that is missing from this year's OnePlus flagships. There's a 16MP selfie cam, too, plus dual speakers.
Powering the OnePlus Nord N10 5G is a 4300mAh battery, and OnePlus has included its Warp Charge 30T fast charging tech that's also found in the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro.
And then there's the Nord N100, which enables OnePlus to reach an even lower price tag. The Nord N100 features a 6.52-inch display, dual stereo speakers, and a Snapdragon 460 processor. There's 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage, and like the Nord N10 5G, a microSD card slot enables you to add even more storage.
On the back of the Nord N100 is a 13MP main camera plus a bokeh lens to help you take portrait mode photos plus a macro sensor for close-up shots. A 5000mAh battery powers the Nord N100, which is the biggest battery in a OnePlus phone in 2020, and there's support for 18W fast charging as well.
Both the OnePlus Nord N10 5G and Nord N100 come with dual SIM slots and OnePlus's OxygenOS 10.5 user interface. They're launching in Europe first, with the OnePlus Nord N10 5G carrying a price tag of £329 (≈$429 USD) while the Nord N100 is £179 (≈$234 USD).
OnePlus does say that its new Nord phones are coming to North America, which missed out on the original Nord. Details on the North American release of these new Nords will be announced at a later date.
