When you've got a song stuck in your head, it can be tough to figure out exactly what that song is, especially if you don't know the words. Google is here to help.
Starting today, you can hum, whistle, or sing a melody to Google and it'll figure out the song that you've got stuck in your head. The feature is available in the Google app on mobile devices, in English on iOS and in more than 20 languages on Android.
To start, tap the mic icon and say "What's this song?" or tap the "Search a song" button. You can also ask the Google Assistant, "Hey Google, what's this song?" Then hum for 10-15 seconds and Google will then use machine learning to identify potential matches. You can choose the best match and then listen to the song in a music streaming app, find the lyrics to the song, and hear other recordings of the song if available.
