We got our first look at the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G earlier this month, but at the time, we were only able to see the front of the phone. Now we're getting a look at much more.
New renders of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G show the front, back, and sides of the still-unannounced device. These aren't official images from Samsung, but are CAD-based drawings from OnLeaks and Pricebaba that show off the design of the phone.
The design of this Fan Edition version of the Galaxy S20 looks fairly similar to the regular S20 5G that launched earlier this year. The diplay is mostly flat but it's said that the edges curve very slightly. There's a hole-punch selfie camera centered at the top of the screen, too. The bezels on the Galaxy S20 FE do look to be a bit thicker than those on the regular S20 5G.
Around back is a rectangular camera bump with three cameras and a flash. There's a USB-C port on the bottom that'll serve double duty for charging and wired headphones because, like the standard Galaxy S20, this Galaxy S20 FE does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Rumors say that the Galaxy S20 FE 5G could include a 6.4 or 6.5-inch display that could also include 120Hz refresh rate support. The trio of rear cameras will reportedly include a 12MP main cam with Sony IMX555 sensor just like the regular Galaxy S20 5G as well as a 12MP ultra wide and 8MP telephoto cam with 3x optical zoom.
It's also said that the Galaxy S20 FE 5G could be available in 6GB and 8GB RAM models, which would be less than the regular Galaxy S20 5G's 12GB of RAM. One positive change that the Galaxy S20 FE 5G would be a 4500mAh battery, which would be bigger than the Galaxy S20 5G's 4000mAh battery.
The Galaxy S20 FE 5G could launch in October at a price of around $750. That would be a couple hundred dollars less than the Galaxy S20 5G's asking price but a little more than the Galaxy S10 Lite cost when it launched last year. This Galaxy S20 FE does have 5G support which the Galaxy S10 Lite lacked, though.
