The OnePlus 8 may be in the news lately because of possibility that it'll be the first OnePlus phone to get wireless charging, but today there's some exciting news for owners of two previous generation OnePlus phones.
OxygenOS 10.3.1 is now rolling out to the OnePlus 6 and 6T. The update fixes several bugs, including one related to 5GHz Wi-Fi hotspot disconnections and another bug that caused a black screen to appear after unlocking your OP6 or 6T using your fingerprint.
Also included in the update are the December 2019 Android security patches and optimizations for the image preview time the Camera app's Pro mode.

This update is a staged rollout, meaning only a small number of OnePlus 6 and 6T owners will get it right now. A broader rollout will happen in a few days once it's been confirmed that the update is working as it should be.
