One of the main features of most gaming phones, aside from the colorful lighting, are the high-end specs. That typically includes high-end processors and lots of RAM, and now we know that the ASUS ROG Phone 2 will have a major display upgrade, too.
ASUS has confirmed that the ROG Phone 2 will have a 120Hz display. The original ROG Phone (shown above) launched last year with a 6-inch screen and 90Hz refresh rate, so the ROG Phone 2 will definitely be an upgrade in that regard.
The higher refresh rate ought to help everything appear more smooth on the ROG Phone 2's display, which will be helpful when you're gaming on the go. ASUS says that the game "Under One Person" will be the first to support the ROG Phone 2's 120Hz screen.
We don't know much else about the ROG Phone 2's features, but a Snapdragon 855 processor seems like a pretty safe bet. The original ROG Phone came with 8GB of RAM, so it's likely that the next model will have at least that much, too. ASUS announced its first ROG Phone in June 2018, so we could see the ROG Phone 2 make its official debut any time now.
