One day after Qualcomm announced its new Snapdragon 855 Plus processor aimed at gaming phones, a new device that's expected to be powered by that chip has leaked out.
New photos that claim to show the ASUS ROG Phone 2 have made their way online. The image shared to Weibo (via GizmoChina) show a device with regular bezels, meaning that there's no notch or hole-punch here. There appear to be speakers at the top and bottom of the device's front.
Another photo of the ROG Phone 2 shows that it will have three display refresh options: 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz. ASUS confirmed last month that the ROG Phone 2 will have a 120Hz refresh rate option, which is up from the ROG Phone's display that topped out at 90Hz.
Details on the ROG Phone 2 are light, but we've heard that it'll be powered by Qualcomm's new gaming-focused Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. Since it's a gaming phone, the ROG Phone 2 will likely come loaded with high-end specs, including at least 8GB of RAM like the original model had.
With a 120Hz display and Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, is the ROG Phone 2 piquing your interest right now?
