The good: Clear signal in many places including buildings, few lost calls little problemsThe bad: dropped call every once in a while, some issues wiht billing when first got on plan- was being charged for free minutesSummary: Overall very good,fair price once the billing was fixed which took a few minutes to get fixed and not many issues since then, good customer service and many phone issues are covered and fixed for free

Verizon is Wonderful

The good: You don't loose signal. Phones are good quality. Warranty is always a good thing to have, it costs a little extra but it will save you in the long run.The bad: I was charged for text messaging on my bill several months in a row and I had told them several times that I didnt want that service, the customer service rep. gave me a hard time and never fixed the problem.Summary: I would recommend Verizon to anyone. There are bad customer service reps. at all companies. But not all of them are that way. Other than that one incident, I dont have any complaints.

The good: Much better reception in areas then other providersThe bad: Plans are a little more than other servicesSummary: I use to have service from cell one and could even call from in my house, but with verizon it's no problem...so I dont have to ask can you hear me now? Anymore!

OK but not great

The good: Roaming & long distanceThe bad: Lots of dead spots & poor supportSummary: I stay with Verizon only for lack of a better choice. I like that I can have 5 phones on my plan and that we get plenty of minutes with free roaming and long distance but their network has lots of dead spots in this area. Even standing 20 feet from the VZW building I can not get service and in another part of town I have to dial 1 + the area code because they are using another companies tower. And their customer service is horrible! When you do get a live person they are rarely able to answer your questions, instead they keep transferring you until you give up.

Service @ Verizon

The good: Can get phone reception almost anywhereThe bad: Why put insurance on a $120 phone? $5.99 monthly x12=$71.88...now if you need to put in a claim- it is will cost you an additional $50 for the same phone replaced. Now you have paid $121.88 for this phone? Insurance is useless unless the phone costs over $200.Summary: This is why I am changing my carrier at end of my contract.

The good: Good ServiceThe bad: Expensive, always want to charge you for something.Summary: They have great service, often I'll have servce when my friends with other carriers don't. However, they are more expennsive then other carriers, and like to charge you for everything. Alot of stuff that other carriers let you get for free (ringtones), Verizon likes to charge you to get.

The good: Great Service, No dropped calls, Excellent customer service with friendly employees. Easy ways to pay bill also !!The bad: NoneSummary: I would highly recommend Verizon to anyone who is looking for a change in service. I had my phone up north with me and was able to make calls without any problems. My last carrier would not let me make the calls without extra charges, If I was able to even get a signal at all.

The good: I live where no other wireless service provider gets reception and this phone gets great reception. battery life is good, simple navigation structure.The bad: noneSummary: Great camera phone, easy to use and has a lot of stored phone memory for numbers and speed dials.

The good: It's a great company. Everytime I call, everyone is nice and very helpful.The bad: Too many dropped calls.Summary: My husband is an over the road trucker. He has a great phone (Motorola). We are on the phone with eachother constantly. He travels all over the United States and Canada. The phone we have is very important to us and also the reception that we get. We just have a great deal of dropped call no mater where he is. I wish they could do something about this matter.
