The LG Velvet is finally launching at Verizon this week.
Verizon will begin selling the LG Velvet 5G UW this Friday, August 21. Pricing will be set at $29.17 per month for 24 months or $699.99 full retail if you'd prefer to pay that way.
Also of note is that Verizon is the only carrier offering the Aurora Red version of the LG Velvet. It's got a glossy red finish that looks pretty darn good.
If that Aurora Red finish has you interested in the LG Velvet 5G UW, there are a couple deals available to help you save some cash on the device. Customers who purchase the LG Velvet online and add a new line of service on a Premium Unlimited plan (Above, Beyond, Do, Play, or Get More) can get the phone for just $10 per month.
If you're an existing Verizon customer looking to upgrade rather than add a new line, you can get $350 guaranteed with trade-in to put toward the Velvet. You'll need to be on a Premium Unlimited plan and your trade-in must be in good working condition. If you qualify, your discount will be applied via 24 monthly bill credits.
The LG Velvet 5G UW is compatible with Verizon's 5G Ultra Wideband network, which is available in parts of 36 cities. It'll also support Verizon's low-band 5G Nationwide network that's launching later this year, so you'll have even more 5G goodness to look forward to.
The spec list for the LG Velvet includes a 6.8-inch 2460x1080 OLED screen with in-display fingerprint sensor, a Snapdragon 765G processor, 6GB of RAM, and a 4300mAh battery. There's a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra wide, and 5MP depth camera, too, plus 128GB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot.

The wait is over. The LG Velvet 5G UW is coming to @Verizon this Friday and it's the only place you can get it in Aurora Red, which is the best color ever. pic.twitter.com/cYvMj7O291
