We've already seen AT&T and Verizon launch the LG Velvet, and now T-Mobile is gearing up to offer it, too.
The LG Velvet 5G is launching at T-Mobile on September 10. T-Mo is touting that it's got an exclusive version of the Velvet, and that's because this model has a MediaTek Dimensity 1000C processor rather than the Snapdragon 765G processor found in the AT&T and Verizon versions of the Velvet.
"T-Mobile is the only place to get the LG Velvet with America’s first 5G chipset from MediaTek, which also makes it the best priced LG Velvet available anywhere," says T-Mo.
T-Mobile is charging $0 down and $24.50 per month for 24 months, or $588 full retail, for the LG Velvet 5G. That makes it around $12 cheaper than AT&T's and $112 cheaper than Verizon's.

In addition to that octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800 processor, the LG Velvet 5G features a 6.8-inch 2460x1080 OLED display with a notch where the 16MP selfie camera lives. There's also a triple camera array on the back of the Velvet that includes a 48MP main cam, 8MP ultra-wide camera with 120-degree field of view, and a 5MP depth camera.
Inside the LG Velvet 5G is 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a microSD slot that supports cards up to 2TB, and a 4000mAh battery. There's a USB-C port with fast charging support, too, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, and a dedicated Google Assistant button. The body of the Velvet features IP68 water and dust resistance.
Finally, T-Mobile says that its LG Velvet 5G supports both its low-band 600MHz version of 5G as well as the mid-band 2.5GHz 5G that expanded to more than 80 new cities this week.
