Xiaomi is a hugely popular Android device maker, but some people may not love the company's custom MIUI user interface. For those customers, Xiaomi also offers Android One devices, and today it introduced a new Android One model.

The Xiaomi Mi A3 features a 6-inch 1560x720 display with a waterdrop notch that holds a 32MP selfie camera with AI scene detection. Around back is a triple camera setup with a 48MP Sony-made sensor, an 8MP ultra wide angle camera with a 118-degree field of view, and a 2MP depth sensor to help you capture portrait mode photos with blurry backgrounds.

Inside the Mi A3 lives a 2.0GHz octa-core Snapdragon 665 processor with 4GB of RAM. There are 64GB and 128GB storage options, and there's a microSD card slot if you want to add more storage in the future. Powering the Mi A3 is a 4030mAh battery.

Rounding out the Mi A3's hardware specs is an in-display fingerprint sensor, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There's Gorilla Glass 5 on both the front and back of the device.

On the software side, the Xiaomi Mi A3 runs Android One, which means it runs an unskinned version of Android that comes with no bloatware. It should also receive monthly security updates.

The Xiaomi Mi A3 is launching in Spain in black, white, and blue color options. Pricing starts at€249 EUR ($280 USD) for the 4GB/64GB model and goes up to €279 EUR ($313 USD) for the 4GB/128GB model.

While the Mi A3 does have a lower screen resolution than the Mi A2 that launched at this time last year, it's got several upgrades to make up for that change. Those include a third rear camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card slot. The battery is significantly larger, too, which means you'll be able to spend less time away from a charger.
