Phones with edge-to-edge screens are all the rage right now, but most of these devices still have some sort of bezel, whether that's smaller bezels on the top and bottom of the display, a notch, or something else. A new device from Lenovo aims to be one of the closest phones to have a truly edge-to-edge display yet.
The Lenovo Z5 is being teased by Chang Cheng, Lenovo's Vice President. Cheng claims that the Z5 has a 95 percent screen-to-body ratio and that it includes "four technological breakthroughs" and "18 patented technologies".
There are no spec details available for the Lenovo Z5. We don't even know if the Z5 is still just a concept design or if Lenovo is actively producing the phone. The only detail that Cheng has provided is that the Z5 is Lenovo's new flagship device.
Based on the little bit of info we have about it right now, the Lenovo Z5 looks like an impressive device. Not only will the 95 percent screen-to-body ratio offer an attractive design that makes it look like you're just holding a screen, it'll also help make watching videos more immersive. Now we just have to wait and see how long it takes for the Z5 ot actually come to market.
