Sprint has two prepaid brands, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile, and they’re both getting a trio of new Android phones.
First up is the Kyocera Hydro Reach, an Android 5.1 phone with a 5-inch 960x540 touchscreen. The Hydro Reach’s spec list also includes a quad-core Snapdragon processor 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, and 4G LTE. Powering the Hydro Reach is a 2160mAh battery.
As its name suggests, the Hydro Reach is also waterproof (and dustproof) and offers a wet touchscreen operation feature, too. It’ll hit Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile on April 15 for $99.99.
If you’d prefer a bigger screen on your new phone, the LG G Stylo 2 boasts a 5.7-inch 1280x720 screen with Android 6.0. It’s also got a 5-megapixel camera on its face, a 13-megapixel on its backside, 16GB of internal storage, and 2GB of RAM. Also included is a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 3000mAh battery, and an embedded stylus for writing on that big ol’ display.
The LG G Stylo 2 will arrive at Boost Mobile on April 15 and at Virgin Mobile on May 9. It’ll be priced at $179.99 on both operators.
Rounding out today’s trio of new prepaid phones is the Samsung Galaxy J7. This Galaxy is packing a 5.5-inch 1280x720 Super AMOLED display, octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of built-in storage. There’s a 13-megapixel camera on its rear as well as a 5-megapixel selfie camera, 4G LTE support, and a 3000mAh battery. The software on the Galaxy J7 is Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 will launch at both Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile on April 15 with a price tag of $229.99.
