Samsung has posted a couple of teasers for its Gear S2 smartwatch in recent weeks, promising to share more information at IFA next week. Before then, though, a Samsung employee has decided to share a photo of the Gear S2 in the wild.
Dennis Miloseski today posted an Instagram photo that shows the Gear S2 and its round face on his wrist. Miloseski, who works as Vice President and Head of Studio for Samsung Design America, didn’t say much about the wearable in his post. However, we can see that the watch face is displaying the time, date, month, and day of the week in several circles.
Samsung hasn’t announced any of the Gear S2’s spec details, but rumors have suggested that it could have a Super AMOLED display, Exynos 3472 processor, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, and a 250Ah battery. Based on what we’ve seen of the Gear S2 so far, it seems like a nice-looking watch that’s going for an analog watch-style look with its round face.
A recent video teaser for the Gear S2 referenced the date of September 3, so keep it locked to PhoneDog on that date for more information on the Gear S2 as it becomes available.
