With IFA a little more than one week away, we’re starting to see companies teasing the wares that they’ll be showing at the Berlin event. Today Sony got in on the action with a teaser of its own.
Sony’s Xperia team in Great Britain today sent out a Tweet that reads “Get ready for a smartphone with greater focus. All will become clear on 02.09.2015.” Attached to the Tweet is a blurry image of a hand holding a Sony-branded handset.

Sony frequently focuses on the camera performance of its smartphones, and it seems likely that that what this new teaser image is about, too. We’ll have to wait until September 2 to find out exactly what Sony has in store, but considering how many mobile manufacturers are creatures of habit, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact debut at IFA just like it debuted the Z3 and Z3 Compact at IFA 2014 and the Z1 at IFA 2013.
