T-Mobile CEO John Legere is a heavy social media user. Most of the time he’s on Twitter, but occasionally he’ll jump onto Periscope to share a live video of himself and his thoughts. Today he did just that, and dropped some hints about what T-Mobile’s got in the works.
During a live Periscope stream from a beach in The Hamptons, New York, Legere teased that next week is going to be “fantastic” and that T-Mobile is “coming out with something great next week.” He also said that he might be on TV next week. However, the CEO didn’t drop share any information about what T-Mo might be planning for next week. Perhaps another Un-carrier Amped move?
When T-Mobile first teased Un-carrier Amped, it said that it would be “amping up several of [its] most wildly popular Un-carrier moves,” so it’s certainly possible that T-Mo could have another announcement planned for next week. It’d be awfully quick considering that JUMP! On Demand was revealed just one week ago, but I’m sure most of us won’t mind getting another amped up version of an Un-carrier move so soon.
Legere also briefly touched on the whole Apple Music-Music Freedom situation. Apple Music isn’t currently included with Music Freedom, a program that excludes certain streaming services from a user’s data allotment. Legere says that he’s working on adding Apple Music to Music Freedom, though, saying that “it’ll get done.”
