Back at MWC 2015 in February, BlackBerry teased that it would release three new colors of its Classic smartphone. Now the second of the those three models is available.
The Cobalt Blue version of the BlackBerry Classic is now being sold in the US, UK, Canada, and the Netherlands. BlackBerry plans to launch the device in more countries, including Hong Kong and Italy, in the coming weeks.
Pricing for the Cobalt Blue BlackBerry Classic is now set at $379 in the US as part of an Independence Day sale. Customers in the UK can get one for £349.00, while shoppers in Canada and the Netherlands can buy a blue Classic for $499 and €380, respectively.
BlackBerry describes this Cobalt Blue Classic as being a “limited edition” model. It’s not clear exactly how long it’ll be available, though. BlackBerry has said that it’ll sell the Classic in bronze as well, but the company hasn’t revealed when that version will launch.
Finally, the aforementioned Independence Day Sale also includes the red and white versions of the BlackBerry Passport and the white BlackBerry Leap. The Passport will set you back $499, while the Leap is priced at $245.
