UPDATE: AT&T says that it’s updating its LG G2 to Android 5.0 today, too. The update bumps the AT&T G2 to Android 5.0.1 and removes the Browser Bar, Famigo, AT&T Code Scanner, and Beats Music apps. You can grab the update by going into Settings > General > About phone > Software update > Update Now.
Another day, another Lollipop update.
T-Mobile says that its version of the LG G2 will begin getting its Android 5.0.2 (D80130b) update today, April 14, and that the rollout will continue through May 22. The update will roll out gradually, but if you’d rather not wait, you can try to pull it down manually by going into Settings > General > About phone > Update center > System updates > Check now.
This update is a beefy one, weighing in at 617MB, so you’ll probably want to be on Wi-Fi when you try to download it. Once you’re done, you’ll be on Android 5.0.2 and you’ll have some updated navigation buttons, a more Material Design user interface, and other goodies. So yeah, you’re going to want to grab this as soon as possible
