One day after the Nexus 4 began getting its update to Android 5.1, another Nexus device is receiving the same update.
The Nexus 7 (2013) [LTE] is now being bumped up to Android 5.1, build LMY47O, which is the same build that the Nexus 4 update got yesterday. The update weighs in at 202.2MB and includes the usual Android 5.1 goodies, like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth switching from the Quick Settings Menu and heads-up notifications improvements.
Google’s been steadily updating its various Nexus and Google Play edition devices to Android 5.1 since the update was announced a little more than a month ago, and now we can cross the Nexus 7 (2013) [LTE] off the waiting list too. To grab the update, head into Settings > About tablet > System updates. If you’d prefer to sideload the OTA yourself, Android Police has the link that you need.
