The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge are getting lots of attention today because they’re now available in the U.S., but it turns out that they’re not the only new Samsung phones arriving today.
Cricket is now selling the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime at a price of $179.99 without a contract. This member of the Galaxy family features a 5-inch 960x540 display and 5-megapixel wide-angle camera on its face as well as an 8-megapixel camera with flash on its backside. Packed inside of its shell is a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 8GB of storage, a microSD card slot, a 2600mAh battery, and 4G LTE connectivity. A combination of Android 44 and Samsung’s custom user interface make up the software portion of the Galaxy grand Prime.
The Galaxy Grand Prime’s spec list is somewhat entry-level, but for its no-contract price, it could be an option worth considering if you want an affordable Android smartphone with a small-ish screen. If the Galaxy Grand Prime sounds like it might fit your phone needs, you can grab it from Cricket right here.
