It's a good month to be an AT&T customer with a hunger for 4G LTE, as the carrier has steadily been flipping on its LTE network in various parts of the country in recent weeks. Today another batch of cities is gaining access to AT&T's LTE service. Included in the group is Detroit (including Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties), Seattle, Portland, Honolulu and Pittsburgh. AT&T also recently expanded its LTE coverage in Palm Beach County and Miami-Dade County in Florida.

This latest expansion is fairly sizable compared to the ones we've been seeing lately, which only saw one or two cities gaining AT&T LTE coverage. It's also good to see some more major U.S. markets joining the AT&T LTE club, and I'm sure that the residents of these cities are all too happy to finally be able to hop onto AT&T's LTE network. If you're still without AT&T LTE service wherever you are, it's worth mentioning that the carrier still has many more markets that it plans to spread its LTE coverage to before the end of the year, so check this list and see if your town is on it.
