There was some buzz going around CTIA this week about a new super slim slider coming soon from Helio. There are a bunch of renderings and rumors online about the Samsung U600 becoming that new device, rebranded as the Helio Mysto. A trademark for the Helio Mysto was spotted on the US Trademark Office site a few weeks back, as well.
I'm not saying the U600 is definitely the Mysto, but I am saying you should expect something new from Helio for the holidays. Given the fact that Samsung's newest handsets - Juke and Blackjack II - feature the same click wheel found on the U600 as Mysto mockups, I'm also saying these U600 rumors make sense to me.
For the record, we're talking about a 10.9mm thin handset with a QVGA screen, 3.2 MP camera, and touch sensitive controls. And, oh yeah, GPS and stereo Bluetooth. Helio doesn't mess around, folks - they only have a few handsets, and they're all top notch. So this may well be true. Stay tuned.
