Aaron unboxes the Nokia Lumia 1020, the newest Windows Phone 8 device. Available at AT&T on July 26th, specifications include a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 CPU, 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ display (WXGA, 1280x768 pixels), 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, 4G LTE, 2,000 mAh battery, and Windows Phone 8. The star feature is the 41-megapixel camera with Xenon flash, which pairs with the Nokia Pro Cam application to offer features above and beyond the typical camera.
It's a very nice smartphone and a breath of fresh air from the countless Android phones that have come out this year. The camera appears to take some great shots and it's a speedy device all around. That said, the $299 price point could deter prospective buyers, as the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S 4 are cheaper. Can Nokia overcome the $199 price point barrier?
