Since PhonedDog.com was established in June of 2001, co- founders Tom Klein and Andre Refay have developed the site with a realistic philosophy in mind: to provide the consumer with un-biased reviews and information needed to make smart decisions when choosing phone products and services. Real world life lessons by both PhoneDog co-founders contributed to the creation of the telecom comparison system. Tom Klein’s door-to-door sales of phone, cable, and internet services for a small regional communications company in Charleston, South Carolina provided him direct insight to what consumers are looking for. Andre Refay was working as an IT project leader for a web development company in Sarasota, Florida. Utilizing the knowledge they obtained from both positions, Tom and Andre created phonedog.com, which initially compared long distance services. In the past three years, phonedog.com has expanded its comparison’s to cover the entire telecom industry. Our philosophy of being an unbiased consumer resource for telecom services has been a rewarding and satisfying journey. We come to work everyday to continually grow and improve so that our visitors can effectively find and understand the information they are looking for with minimal effort.
