high quality camera, nice os windows rocks with this phone
SGS4 is the swiss knife of smartphones. You just want to have one inside your pocket!
The Beats audio is amazing. the boom sound makes the phone sound wonderful. the camera has great zoom in capabilities the picture comes out clear even fully zoomed in. Really good phone over all compared to the Iphone 5 which gave up in favor of this phone.
The Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE, that's a lot to say, it comes with Android 4.1.2 with Samsung's TouchWiz overlay, and packs a 4 inch 480 x 800 display which comes in at 223 ppi. It has a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon S4 Lite, 1 GB ram and 4GB of on board storage processor which has gotten scores around 4,800 on Quadrant Standard. It has an SD card slot that is expandable to 32 GB. The camera is a 5 megapixel sensor which records video in 720p, the camera takes amazing video and picture quality is great.
Coming from the HTC Evo V 4G which is a bigger device with a 4.3 inch screen and weighed a lot more than the Galaxy Victory. The display is very crisp, text is easily view able, the viewing angles are superb, and the colors are very vibrant.
The reception has been good in my area, 3G is always at full bars, 4G is much more scattered, that is just due to the lack of 4G towers in Rhode Island. Although when in an area with LTE I've had download speeds of around 25 to 30 Mbps, upload speeds have been around 15 to 20 Mbps.
The battery life has been great, even with a smaller 2100mAh battery I am still able to get about 20 hours on a single charge.
The design is very stunning and looks sharp and elegant, the gray accents really make this device look sharp, it reminds me of the Samsung Ativ S. It is made out of plastic, typical of a Samsung device although I must say the device feels both smooth and sturdy in the hand.
In terms of Apps & Media Support this device has access to not only the hundreds of thousands of apps on the Play Store, but also comes with Samsung Apps which is a collection of apps that Samsung offers users the ability to download in the same manner of the Play Store.
Overall the Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE is an amazing device that needs more credit then it gets. It is a powerhouse hidden away in a comfortable chassis and runs smooth with no hiccups whatsoever. I would recommend this device to first time users or to someone who is looking for an upgrade this phone will be perfect for anyone who decides to buy it.
Upgraded to the Galaxy S4 from the Galaxy S2. Main reason was the display. I wanted the Galaxy Note 2 but opted for better performance specs. The Note 2 specs are somewhat behind everything else. This is an excellent phone aside from the bells & whistles.
The boom sound, the zoe. the phone is just a beast.
One Of The Best's Phones Of 2013 This Years Love It .
Form Lee Lemon In Miami Fl. I Have The Htc One
The screen: is incomparable, super bright and great color reproduction. Insane viewing angles.
Design: it's like a piece of art. The aluminum is great and the design is perfect, feels great in the hand.
Battery life: it's exceptional, I get around 9-12hrs in heavy usage.
Call quality: so far there is nothing that can compete with the call quality of the ONE, perfectly loud and clear, makes anything else sound mediocre, loudspeaker is amazing also.
Speakers: super loud and finally a phone with front facing speakers which makes more sense, no more awkward cupping of the hand to get sound.
Sense 5: it's not like the Sense ui's from before, it's lighter faster and cleaner. It makes everything more pleasing. It quick, no lag, it's awesome! I love it a little over stock Android, and I love stock Android to death haha.
Camera: it's exceptional, low light is insanely awesome, that ultrapixel camera brings in more light so better low light pictures. Zoes is something new, video/picture hybrid video thingys, take a few of them and a few pictures and then the gallery app just press play on the event it created and it creates a awesome little 30 second video of what you just shot. Great for creating memories.
Blinkfeed: great addition to gather information, news, articles, social network updates and calendar events in one feed, I love it, some won't, it can't be disabled but can be moved aside.
Button layout: it's a bit awkward at first but it becomes second nature after a few days.
You can't go wrong with this phone! Finally a product I feel is worth my hard earned money.
I have had two different galaxy models and a nexus and this is one incredible device. I easily chose this over the vs4 because of the display and the build quality. I have the simplicity of this over all the fluff that has been added to the gs4. I would just like to get the JB 4.2.2 update.
I have previously been an Apple chick, but i decided to switch to android to change it up to see what the G-O is with a different OS and to help me in my new job by having a feel for android.
I would love it greatly if we could meld an iPhone 5 and a GS4 together. I went for a plastic design for a grippier feel as i love using phones as they are intended in the hand (without always arming a case) but i was still not impressed with just how easily the bezel on the GS4 folded. Mine dinted super easy, but hey, it's plastic.
I prefer the app store on iOS as i feel there is more available and i prefer the layout over playstore.
The battery life of my iP5 was fairly poor but the 2600mA battery in the GS4 does an outstanding job even though i am usually where there isn't a lot of 3G signal. But i do feel signal strength was better in the iP5.
My GS4 has been having a lot of glitching throughout the entire experience; gaming, processing etc. And like everyone else, the software and bloatware taking up so much internal space os a massive downer.
I'd love to have a go/trial with the HTC one as the boom sound looks fab. The speakers in the GS4 are pretty lame considering the price tag. People complain about sound quality when on loudspeaker and the output sound is a little tinny and very soft for such a large phone.
The Amoled display is great but could be a little better in brightness at times.
I am enjoying having a little more stock customisation on this GS4 than the iP5 (which was jailbroken) And after using the Gs4 for some time now i still feel that with the software a lot of stock things run smoother on the iP5.
Overall though, i am liking the GS4 but i would love it if i could meld my two phones together!
The greatest aspect I love about the HTC One is that it feels like an iPhone, but it is powered by Android 4.1. The simple UI of Sense 5 keeps the phone running fast all the time. The camera is not the best, but it still can take high quality shots. Without a capacitive menu button, I do find myself looking around for the settings. The worse thing about the HTC One will be its battery life. I can barely make it through the day moderate use.
Best phone of 2013 but the quatlity of the build is not good but not bad. If they went with mroe of a metal phone it would be much better. But the addable external storage is awsome
