Battery life Endurance rating 48h
This phone can get me through 2 full days of heavy use! Great job Samsung. The screen/S Pen are amazing.
me putting a 4 rating the the battery is merely nitpicking
I came from Sprint's EVO 45 LTE; to Verizon Droid DNA, which was great on the network side. There a few defiance even though they are both made by HTC. And I'm not talking about the hardware. Verizon has chosen to limit the software that help make an HTC device stand out, like peeps, friend-stream and other app that I know have to hunt for 3rd-Party app to do. I hope scene five will change all that. I also hate that I'm limited with 16GB, I wish there was a spot for a mirco-sd card.
The HTC One is a gorgeous handset, the screen is vivid even out in daylight. The build quality seems to be made from the hands of a craftsman. The speakers are loud, the bass is clear and no fuzz even on max volume. The camera takes great pictures plus the Zoe feature is an added plus. All in all this phone is awesome all around and would highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a new phone.
Coming from verizon to sprint (razr maxx to note 2) I understand I took a hit in overall quality but I chose the price point and unlimited over that. But where other sprint phones have 3-4 bars I have 2... Especially when roaming where only us cellular only covers (both verizon and sprint roam on them) I would get 3 bars with my maxx but with my note I get 1-0 take for granted this is in a really rural area. Battery life is great considering the size of the screen and the quad core performance.
I have tmobile version black 16 gig .Very fast thanks to the dual core and 2 gig ram , love the ability to add a sd card and change out the battery in less than 5 min, camera is the best out there yes the htc one is good too but for anyone tats want to do a lot with there pictures you need a bigger megapixel camera .I really like the dual camera mode and all the extra features the software has for it .And yes the iphone 5 with ios 7 to me looks to like what a teenager would like not very sophisticated looking looks more like a toy ..
The phone is very big which for some people is a plus and for some it is a minus. It has one of the best cameras on any phone. Its screen is great though it is not a 1080p display. The big battery even combined with the big screen gives it great battery life. Despite the big battery if you use the charger that come with it you can charge it about 3 hours. There are a lot of nice features with touchwiz, but it is not currently updated to android 4.2 but should be before to long.
Best phone ever. The One get the most votes because its pretty. But Galaxy still wins
love ittt fhhygjhgjtryrhddutyutrureutryryrytrutrutrutrutrtrtrutrutrutrutrutru

I like this one. I've used Iphone4/Note1/GalaxyS3. and, this one is the best ever!
Great battery life, solid performance and smooth all around multi media functinality. Fast processor and great camera.
So I got my first HTC One a week ago and I'm still getting used to android since I have been using Nokia phones excursively. Now that I'm getting used to it, I like android.
Screen: I'm a professional photographer so I have a special appreciation for the phone's full HD screen resolution. It's bright and very sharp!
Feel/ Construction: I have had to aluminum Nokia phones which are known for their toughness and I can say that the build quality of this phone is greater than or equal to that standard. Two days ago I got pushed into the columbia river by a friend with my HTC one in my pocket submerging the phone for about 5 seconds and it still worked fine for 30 min until the water caused something to short-circuit in the phone and the touch screen became unresponsive. The next day I was able to exchange for a new one at my t-mobile store for free because they didn't even asked what happened to the phone. Overall this phone feels very nice to hold and operate.
Camera: Don't let megapixels fool you into thinking that is the most important thing. It isn't. The HTC One's 4 MP camera has very good dynamic range, wide aperture, and steady Image stabilization. The resolution is comparable to other smartphones but not outstanding. Also I would like to mention that the front facing camera has a very wide angle of viewing.
Battery Life: So far I have not been able to kill the battery in under 12 hours of heavy use so it is plenty for day to day use. However if you forget to charge it for the night, it might not last through the second day of hard use.
Summary: I am very happy with this device as an all purpose communications tool and fun toy.
