the galaxy s4 is a very very nice phone...it is blistering fast....rarely has lagging issues...and has never ever once crashed on me. The air gestures and smart features are very cool and i use some quite alot. i definitely recommend this phone.
HTC done pretty much of a job putting this monster together.
I am an experienced android user who has used every version of android since 2.2. i have to say that every single operating system version had lag. i am a very fast moving person who needs the smartphone to be very responsive. This is why i purchased the iPhone 5. it has a nice slim form factor and is very easy to hold. the os is fast and simple and my day to day tasks are faster because of it. Furthermore the eco system that apple have it very efficient. I'm currently using a macbook air 2013 and the iPhone syncs and transmits data very fast and effectively.
A great phone that has great battery life. Call Quality is also great. Screen is also great. It works in all the ways a smart phone should. I would highly recommend this phone.

Pros:
1. Best Low light Camera(Better than 920 as this has fast shutter speeds than Lumia and Extremely fast processing than 920 or 925/928)
2. The Unibody - Zero Gap Construction in Aluminium makes it the best phone to handle.
3. Front Facing Stereo Speakers with crisp and loud sounds than any other phone
4. 2GB RAM, Adreno 320 Graphics and a Quad core 1.7Ghz Qualcomm Processor
5. Excellent Battery Optimization and Zero Lag
There are lots more but I ran out of space to mention them all. You use it, you would not touch any other mobile!!! I guarantee
Cons:
1. Comparatively low standby time (which will be addressed in upcoming updates)
2. The camera resolution is good for viewing without zooming in, but when zoomed in, it is not par with 13MP cameras out there.

I have been using both the galaxy s4 and the htc one for sometime now and would say that htc one has proven that it is actually the number one. Forget crappy plastic , laggy and overly hyped galaxy s4 and go ahead for this smartphone. No lag No performance hit and a design that makes your heartbeat stop for a moment
I got this phone on December 24th, 2011, a few months after the 4s came out. At first this phone was amazing! Super fast, great call quality etc. But I can say after a little over 1 1/2 years the performance really does fade. It is slow!!!!!! Slow on the download/uploads, slow with loading web pages, and lag. Also, the battery goes to hell after about a year. I seriously get maybe 9 hours with light usage on a full charge. Ridiculous. Overall it is good for a short period of time, much like American cars. I can honestly say I can't wait for my upgrade to a galaxy s4 next month!
Though the S4 has sold way more units than the One, the One still is a better phone. In terms of build quality and screen size, 4.7 inches is a sweet spot. Its just right. Also, BoomSound and BlinkFeed, are two features that you cannot not have!
I honestly think this could be the Morgan Freeman of phones(at the moment)
I had 86$ in texting charges, first rep wanted to cut those by 20$, I refused, second couldnt help me at all, third refunded all those charges with ought too much hassle...
They don't have best coverage but for sure you cannot beat their prices.

... battery life (like most smartphones) could be better but otherwise, I'm very happy! For the most part, its very intuitive except for one feature ... I turned ON the verbal announcement mode and now can't figure it out how to turn it off! :)
