The good: You never have to worry about your bill, unless you don't pay your bills on time... then there are late fees. You can talk and text all you want and whenever you want. Very simple and "to the point" cell phone provider. A lot of very nice phones to choose from. No contracts is the best! Very inexpensive for unlimited minutes!!
The bad: Customer service number is difficult to deal with. Some of the phones have issues and if you don't take care of your phone, chances are... you'll have to buy a new phone or pay for another through insurance if you have it. Since they don't have contracts, they are limited with what can be exchanged through manufacturers warranty. Insurance also sometimes isn't worth it, but if you calculate what you spend on phones AND service in a year time... it's ALWAYS cheaper than what you would spend with
Summary: Words to the wise: It's not expensive at all... so I recommend doing your best to pay your bill on time or setting up auto bill pay so that it's never late. Their billing system isn't the greatest and sometimes bills can be confusing if you pay late all the time. Although not as big of a company as some others, Cricket is very dedicated to providing great service and making sure their customers are satisfied. I found that you will get treated how you treat the employees. If you are honest and treat them with respect, most employees will do what they can for you. If you go in demanding things and expect them to do something they can't, don't expect anything to come out of it but a headache. Remember, they are limited to what they can do because of the fact they have no contracts and unlimited service. If you are honest and friendly, most employees will do whatever they can for you. Keep in mind, even though you may have to buy a new phone once a year or so... you are still saving a lot of money and stress compared to most companies.
The good: Awsome keyboard, great speakers and sound as wells, and The inside screen is huge!
The bad: The phone is pretty thick, and hard for me to get out of my pocket. Also the front screen kind of blows, because they've made almost uselss because its so small and the the objects on the screen are huge.
Summary: I got this phone used from my friend, but it's still in great condition. Combined, my friend and I have probably dropped it hundreds of times and it only has a cracked screen (thanks to me and a car door) and the corners have some paint chipped off. If this phone was just a little bit thinner, I'd choose it over any phone any day, even the LG enV.
The good: It has a nice design, a kid may need this phone more than an adult because it is meant for kids. The fun games make it hard to put down, and it isnt too fragile.
The bad: the battery life is pretty short so youll have to charge it whenever you get a chance.
Summary: I love this phone and its style. if you are looking for a phone...than buy the razr prepaid phone. (but only if you have the time to charge it)

The good: Great customer service, good response time, good coverage, great plan
The bad: none to date
Summary: I manage a 35 line Alltel cell account for our company. We have a great customer service rep and all my requests are answered in a timely manner. She explains options and gives us great service. To date, we are exceptionally pleased with the plan and service provided by Alltel.
The good: Small, lightweight, easy to use.
The bad: None
Summary: This is a small, light phone that you hardly know is in your pocket. I've had the phone for 2 weeks and it works great and is easy to learn & navigate. The speakerphone is loud and clear. This is a great choice if you don't care about music or TV.
The good: Clear, great quality pictures
Camera/video clarity
USB to PC tranfer
Potability
Battery life
Ease of use
The bad: Speaker phone audibility
Summary: This phone is light, durable, yet tough and perfect for the pratical user.
The good: Pay a month by month bill and have no late fees and no contracts.Unlimited everything, text, minutes and free long unlimited long distance
The bad: Reception is horrible and you receive little to no reception at all in alot of places close to home.
Summary: The Cricket Phone is a very good value be can be unnerving at times as I explained at the top in the Pros and Cons sections. There are no contracts and you receive free unlimited long distance and unlimited text messaging and unlimited calling minutes and pay one flat low rate.
The good: It is durable and have had no problems with it.
The bad: I wish I could use the alarm for different dates and times. You can only use it for one alarm at a time
Summary: We have 5 different cell phones, bought at the same time, it is the only one that I have not had any problems with
The good: Clamshell styling; pocket sized; camera is pretty good, External Name, date, time display
The bad: phone must be face down for speaker to work properly
Summary: It's a good phone. Well worth the price, which came with a rebate gift card too, from AT&T
The good: Least likely to drop calls.
The bad: Stop working at after 3 months purchase
Summary: I am an unhappy customer with this one, I've alway purchase LG phones and never had a complaint until now.
The good: I had nothing but great customer service. Best rated plans out there period. (Free internet, picture mail, texting)
The bad: None
Summary: I am really confused about all these bad customer service reviews. Any other company I call, I have to wait at least 5-10 minutes. At Sprint it is less than a minute. Customer reps are very polite and they will work with you to make you happy. There are always going to be mistakes, billing or whatever, with any provider. You have to know how to work the system. I just got 70 dollars credit for too many 1 minute calls I accumulated last month. You just have to call them and ask what they can do for you - and you WILL get a deal.
I have been with US Cellular, T mobile and At&T and none compare. US Cellular are decades behind on their phones. T-Mobile - good plans but very bad reception and many dropped calls. At&T- overpriced. Try Sprint. It is free to cancel within 30 days. Look at their SERO plans (Google it). 1300 minutes (free everything -web,email, pictures, texting you name it) for 50 dollars a month. Try to find a deal like that anywhere else!
The good: Lots of useful features
The bad: User manual only for spanish readers
Won't make or receive phone calls after 2nd week.
Summary: I liked the phone, although the internet connection wasn't the service I had hoped for. No flash connection limits where you can go. I could get emails ok. It made me mad that there was a spanish user guide, but english readers are expected to get their manual on the internet. If I wanted to take my computer with me I wouldn't have bought this phone. For $355 they could print a book for me. The store loaded my contacts from my last phone, which blocked me from loading contacts from outlook. I had to get a new Sim card. All of this would have been OK, but before week two was over, my phone quit making or receiving phone calls. It goes back tomorrow.
The good: Neat phone with alot of features.
The bad: Reception not that great and phone shuts off in middle of converstations for no reason.
Summary: I got this phone when it had just came out through Verizon. It is a neat phone, if you can figure out how everything works. I don't have much tech smarts, so I don't use alot of the features. It is thin, but wide and long. I've had problems with mine shutting off for no reason. I am going to take it back and have them exchange it for a new one. The battery life doesn't last very long either. I've also not had very good reception with it. My Mom has a small and more simple phone and hers picks up way better than this LG8600 does. Also, the speaker phone is not very loud at all. Overall opinion: I wouldn't buy it again.
The good: My Phone was free with the purchase of minutes!
Good sound quality.
The bad: none.
Summary: The phone receives and makes calls consistently with good sound quality. The screen will scratch if you don't use a holster. You can customize your screen with a message for your self.
Without doubt it is a great bear bones communicator.
The good: no contracts, you track your minutes on your phone, excelent coverage state to state. Your phone is purchased with the minutes included.
The bad: cannot get email, play music, take pictures, download ringtones from other providers.
Will not allow you to transfer your number from one phone to another?
Summary: Tracfone offers an affordable phone service for everyone who does not need all the cons I listed.

One tip to save even more money is use the text messaging option. cost for outgoing messages is 0.3 and incoming is 0.0.

If you want phone service without strings tracfone is the way to go.
The good: ease of use
The bad: needs better antenna
Summary: This product is very easy to use, it is a great product for anyone that does not need all the bells and whistles, just an overall good phone for general use.
The good: Big, clear screen, bright colors, pretty decent camera
The bad: You really have to get the hang of flipping it open without dropping it.
Summary: I bought this phone a few months ago and it's been great.
The good: Even in a basement apartment and the elevator, I have clear service
The bad: none
Summary: I've had this service for 3 years now and have never had trouble wtih my service, it's been great and they have awesome customer service should you ever have a problem.
The good: able to purchase 1000 minutes for $100--never worry about running out of time
The bad: high price per minute
Summary: For those of us who want a cell phone in the car for emergencies or just for a quick call, the prepaid plan is excellent. If you buy 1000 minutes first, then you may buy a much smaller amount (say, $15 or $25) next time and you have peace of mind PLUS cell phone convenience.
