The good: The phone is small and it fits well in my pocket.
It had good graphics.
The bad: The phone had a stubby antenna which i did not like and the camera did not make good pictures.
I also did not like the fact that the camera window was at the bottom of the flip part fo my phone.
Summary: I had my phone for almost one year and it was a good phone except for the camera. I dropped my phone i know atleast 5 or 6 times and it never even tried to quit on me until a month or two ago when i had put some lotion on my hands and I was texting a friend i dropped it on a hard floor in my kitchen and the flip part of it broke in two places after that the flip part of the phone was loose and my phone became possessed and it would go in and out of manner mode by itself and it would turn on and off when ever it decided to. Also the front of the phone where the time is displayed can be easily cracked. Bottom line it is a good phone but a little bulky and does not take too well to being dropped.
The good: tracfone service
The bad: unrealistic expectations
Summary: Hi- I've used Tracfone for several years now. With a landline at home, my tracfone lives in the car. It has been a reliable tool for on the road use, emergencies, etc. When used in this way, it is a remarkably useful and economical service. It is not for chatting up your friends, casual chatter- that would soon make it an expensive service. If you do not use phones a lot, need an occasional phone, or simply need a travel phone, get a tracfone. I have found the tracfone service people very helpful- tho they speak English with Indian accents. I am not poor, and neither are my family and friends who have also adopted tracfone- just sensible. If you want to ACT like you have an expensive phone and service, get one.
The good: Great colors.
awsome keyboard!
has i-m.
Great sound quality(speakers).
great look/style.
nice clear screens.
great camera quality.
holds a long charge.
great for texting.
set up is great.

The bad: you cant set your recordings as ringtones.
Summary: I love this phone! Despite the fact that you cannot set your recordings as ringtones, its great. i would totally recomend this phone to anyone!
The good: Camera is decent. The look is slick. Nice finish. Blue Tooth PIM sync, and file transfer is fantastic with a large SD micro.
Voice dial is nice.
The bad: Battery life is horrible. Never overcharge the battery as you will get 18 hours of standby after this. Blue tooth device connections have had to be re-added more than once.(headset,PC). Speaker phone only works after a call is started. Access to SD Micro requires you to remove the battery, hence shutting off phone if not connected to power. Not a droppable phone. No music playback controls on the front. VX8300 was much better for that.
Summary: I recommend getting a phone with a extended battery. Especially for this one.
The good: The best customer Service on the planet.
The bad: Not open 24/7
Summary: I would never switch companies from US cellular. I mean US cellular goes above and beyond for there customers, They are really great with customer privacy, not just let people who just say they should access acount, because they use a phone access and ruin accounts, and they also dont cancel customers contracts, just because they call into customer service like another company. If you can give a REAL bad example of customer service, and not blame them because you dont pay attention to your bill, your contract that you sign or because they just wont give you credits for all of your overage charges, because you were not responsible enough to watch your minutes. Then please tell us all.
The good: This phone can do everything that my computer and old cell phone combined.
The bad: Hard to dial with one hand (new numbers)
Sometimes I cant receive all my pic/ video texts.
Summary: This phone caused a lot of trouble with my relationship. I know that sounds really strange, but hear me out. I use it for personal and business. I use the outlook and hotmail and I text more than most people. My sister texted me a messege asking me who Sara was. I didnt know what she was talking about. Then she read this message that came to her phone as a text from my number. It was a messege that I had used hotmail to email to a girl that I was talking to around the same time I got the phone. Then a couple weeks later I had another person getting random text of emails that I had sent other people. My phone was texting random people in my phones contact list. I didnt know why but I soon there after stopped using my phone for email. Then last week my girl that I have been with for some time got a text from my phone that was part a lovey dovey text that Isent her and the other have an email from 3 months ago to some one else. OUCH!! So to anyone that has had this problem, I feel your pain.
The good: Sound, design, screen, and the windows mobile 6 Pro the best phone for the money.
The bad: The keyboard a little hard to use.
Summary: I'll recomend the phone is very handy and easy to use.
The good: Light weight ,very nice picture on a bigger then adverage screen !
The bad: Claims it comes with games installed ,no games on my phone ,cant thing of anything else I do not like about this phone !
Summary: I actually purchsed this phone for my young son ,I liked it very much plus its bluetooth enabled . My phone a Samsung A850 did not have Bluetooth ,however its a flip phone with all of the other features on the R400 .Well one day my son asked if I would trade him phones I jumped on it and Iam glad I did ,it has a larger screen then the A850 ,bluetooth ,which in Ca. will be very much a needed feature ,a new law is making it illegal to hold a cell phone while driving ,going into effect July of 2008 ! I really like just about everything about this phone the R400 ,we have 4 cell phones in my home and all of them are Samsung !
The good: Phone quality is perfect, super fast email, solidly built, great display, fast web browsing, good battery life, good signal strength
The bad: No camera (but I knew that before I got it)
Summary: This is simply the best and easiest to use Smartphone I have come across. The display and Icons are very nice and easy to use. The keyboard set up is a little strange at first, but you will be firing out TXT messages in no time with a little practice.
Emails pop up on my phone faster than they do on the computer!
Overall, this is a great phone for the money. You can easily find one on ebay for under $100.
I got mine for $50.00 shipped!
The good: Everything. 99$ plan, only way to go over is buyign ringtones and international calls =D
The bad: none.
Summary: I've had Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T,Verizon. And none come close to the customer service. They have their 99$ plans, but nothing gives you everything like Helio does. Great Phones. I have the Ocean I love it compared to my Sidekick LX =} . Love the service. Service EVERYWHERE. Myspace, Facebook. Its got it alll.
The good: great phone for me
The bad: it does freeze up
Summary: I do agree it does freeze up but all u have to do is take out the battery wait 5 seconds and install back. It goes back to normal. That is the only complain i have and Yes you need a case for it because the screen does get scratched up. Just be good to your phone charge when not in use and it will be fine. My battery life is great it is always charge. With every cell phone you must go charge it when you get home even though it states otherwise. Be good to your phone.
The good: Friendly staff, knowledge about the phones and services is excellent. Services are reasonably priced. Great reception in the back country - much better than Verizon, AT&T, and other major companies.
The bad: Small Phone company = not in a lot of places. Phones not compatible to transfer files via bluetooth with other companies. Downloads require "Easyedge" which requires a monthly fee, airtime charges, plus the application download charge. Pay-as-you-go plans are also available if you want to download only a couple applications, but more expensive in the long run.
Summary: US Cellular isn't a major phone company yet, so this means that a person who moves to a location where Verizon or other big phone companies are, US Cellular might not be, making the user switch over to a different service. Though the company is great in more remote places that other companies, being consolidated into certain areas makes it hard for a person who moves constantly to stay with the company very long.
The good: Slim, barely noticeable while in my pocket. Great sound, loud ringtones, easy to use. MP3 player (US Cellular doesn't use iTunes) is easy to use. The screen is a lot bigger than most Motorola Phones.
The bad: The two middle buttons fell off and I had to glue them back on (no biggy). The memory slot is behind the battery.
Summary: I'm really happy with my phone. My contract with my cell phone company is almost up and I really don't want to get a new phone. Recommended highly.
This is a life saver! I love it! I can download, upload, do everything I have been missing since having only dial up for years. This is remarkable. It is great.
The good: Sleek
Cool Menus
Good calling quality (but starts to get worse over time)
Decent Battery Life
The bad: I have had to infringe on this phone's warrenty two times! I became so fend up with it that I made my provider give me a new one!
Summary: This phone stinks! When you first get it you love it, it is so cool, the wow factor is nice, and you got a music player! Great menus and ok when it comes to texting!

But, after have this phone two times I have gotten two broken phones right after the other! The first time, my phone came with a broken hing and over time of me charging my phone it stopped working! I couldn't charge it anymore! I don't know what happened it just stoped charging at night! So I went back and got a refirbushed phone because by that time the phone was discontinued!

But soon after getting the refurbished phone I started to notice little glitches! Like my phone would randomly shut down in the middle of a text! I would be typing this extremly long message to someone and all of a sudden my phone would shut down and restart! It was extremly annoying! Then I noticed the call quality started to go down hill, I fell like I was in the Grand Canyon when talking to someone! I could here what I was saying and I could hear what they were saying, but with an echo! Not to mention, the phone is febile! I live down south were the area is kinda dry and weekend I went up to Chicago during one of its humid days and my phone formed a moisture buble! So I told my parents about it and they told me to put the screen out into the sun and let it evaportate! Well I did and guess what the bubble did evaporate, but instead of a mositure bubble there was now an air bubble! I is now sealed there and there is a big swirl of colors in my screen that is as annoying as crap! Lastly, if you are a big texter do not get this phone! If you have seen this phone in person you should notice that it doesn't have keys but this "skin" which you might think is great because then teacher or whomever won't be able to hear you texting! Yea this is true, but that skin, over time, will start to lift up from the glue that holds it down releasing and I have seen friends who have this phone with the skin on thier phone completely gone! They have to dail by guessing (even though most people do know which numbers are which)!

Seriously, take me heed do not buy this phone is you are hard on electronics (not abbusive)! I would recommend a Samsung! LGs SuX!

btw... this phone (for me) usually only takes 4 months to start to break!
The good: Keyboard works for me; screen is clear and easy to read (when it's lit); size is convenient; seems pretty tough; recharges quickly
The bad: software lacks a lot; microphone is all but useless for voice dialing; back-light time-out options
Summary: I can't quite remember now why I didn't replace my stolen Blackberry with another one, but the Q seemed a good idea at the time. Honestly, it's very serviceable, very good-looking, fits nicely into my hands, pocket, side of purse and I've found the keyboard easy to use. initial synchronization with my Outlook contacts was quick and straightforward. Initial setup of Bluetooth was difficult due to poor instructions on finding the "Discover Me" mode on the Q. Although microphone is adequate for speakerphone purposes, it is totally inadequate for voice dialing and I'm still trying to find out if I can use some sort of voice tag for each contact to mitigate that. So far, no luck. Up until now, Blackberry was the only cell phone/PDA I had used and if something happens to this one, I'll probably go back. Seems sturdy enough. I've dropped it once or twice without ill effect and carry it around in my purse without a cover. also, there needs to be a longer-time choice between "never" and "60 seconds" for back-light time-out. Finally, Microsoft needs to take some basic lessons from RIM as to PDA software.
The good: Seems to get good reception and voice clarity on the phone speaker. Address book is very good and comprehensive. Syncing with Outlook on my computer via bluetooth is great and totally automatic.
The bad: Nowhere near 6.5 hours talk time. More like 1.5. External speaker not great. Need to turn down the volume in order to prevent distortion in speakerphone conversations and ringing. Morally bankrupt service providers (Such as Fido) are able to lock out features such as mp3 ringtones in order to extort extra money from their subscribers.
Summary: I purchased this phone for 3 reasons. 1. Bluetooth 2.0 capabilities for connection to my car hands free and head set. 2. Advertised talk time and battery life. 3. Advertised (On Nokia's web site specifications) ability to play mp3 ringtones and use them as a sort of caller id. Well 1 out of 3 isn't too bad I guess. After purchasing this phone I found it was really easy to transfer my previously purchased mp3 ringtones via bluetooth to either the phone memory or the microSD card. I was really happy about that until I went to use them and got the "Not allowed by activation key" error. After talking with both Nokia and Fido I was basically told that the ringtones have to be drm enabled in order to be played. I was told this is to protect the Artists rights. I have a couple of problems with that explanation. 1. Why are only the ringtones protected and not the actual music player? 2. Why should I have to pay $3.00 or more for a 30 second clip of a song when the whole song can normally be purchased for $0.99. Obviously this is simply the service provider distorting the intended use of DRM and trying to create some extra revenue. Personally when my contract with Fido expires I will be moving to a service provider that has higher ethical standards than this. I quite like the phone and would even be willing to put up with the mythical battery life. But I like my ringtones. and since the manufacturer (Nokia) is complicit in this scheme by allowing Fido and other service providers to alter their phone in this manner i will be given this phone a lower score than I might otherwise have given it.
The good: Cheap Rates, No fees or contracts
The bad: Poor Customer Service
Summary: I like the service, and the low costs. I get a 300 minute card every two months for thirty bucks. No fees or contracts, very simple. My housemate had a lot of trouble getting the phone she wanted from the web site, and customer service kept fouling up the replacements. However I still like the cost and service. My first phone was the Nokia 1600 candy bar which essentially was free as it came with 300 minutes. I found it to be easy to bump keys and make calls I didn't know I was making. Keyguard was very hard to use, so I switched to an LG 1500 flip phone. My one fear making the change was transferring my number and minutes to the new phone, considering the problems with customer service. Guess what, I brought the new phone at Wal-Mart where they said they would handle that while I waited. Took 20 minutes, everything was fine.
The good: Great phone, slim, big screen love it
The bad: You can't copy all your contacts to from the phone to the sim card.
Summary: Make sure you select save to sim for phone book memory so if it breaks you don't loose your contacts. If you have broken something like the screen or just got a new phone, there is a way that you can send your contacts via bluetooth. First you have to turn your bluetooth on if it isn't already. You can do this by hitting the top left soft key (the menu key) and then typing 9-6-1 then hitting top left soft key (select) this will turn bluetooth on or off. Then hit the end call button to go back to the wallpaper screen. From here press the down arrow button, then top left soft key (options)-1-top left soft key (options)-5-3-2-top left soft key(select) this seaches for bluetooth devices then you scroll down to the one you want, which may take some guess work if your screen is broke, and hit the top left soft key (select) and all of your contacts should transfer. I hope this takes the guess work out of it and saves a lot of time for some one.
The good: -Excellent Camera
-Crisp and Clear Screens
-Sexy Colors ;)
-Many Options
-Loveeee The Flip
-You Can go on Aim/Msn/Yahoo with Qwerty Keyboard Ha Excellent
-Strong Vibrate
-Loud Speaker/Ringtone/Earpiece
-HOTTTTTT Keyboard
Those Were My Pros Now Time 2 move On 2 the Cons :|
The bad: -Maybe The Fronts Screen Can Be a Tad Bigger
-The Space Bar is in a Odd Place

Summary: All I Can say is..... HOTTTT KOOL Phone Pros outnumber The Cons, This Phone Is Excellent Love It
