The good: Good keyboard, responds fast, backspace like on rumor2, good size screen 2 in.
The bad: No brightness change, no email or im slow sending, bad call quality, terrible camera 1.3 mp
Summary: The phone in all is pretty nice. It has great texting keys except it has the spacebar in the fourth row. Has number dedicated keypad row. Camera is terrible. Only 1.3 megapixels overall pretty good phone.
The good: The affordability of the service
The bad: The fact that everybudy doesn't know of the service
Summary: I have been using Net10 for 1 year and 6 months now and really appreciate the service. I never have any dropped calls. As my mother is in a nursing home now it is nice to have a phone and be accessible to her at all times. Net10 is great for reliablitity.
The good: Great coverage, flexible plans with low pricing.
The bad: Bought by Verizon.
Summary: Alltel was the best wireless provider in the Southeast. They had a decent (not great) selection of phones, were very military friendly, and on two occasions they saved me the hassle of having HUGE bills by retroactively applying an account upgrade. For example, I was on the Carolina only plan, went to California for military duty, and came home with $500 in roaming charges. They CALLED ME and said that I had a huge bill, and allowed me to retroactively upgrade to the Nationwide plan ($5 more for the same minutes) to get rid of the charges. The same thing happened when I started texting, I was given the option to add unlimited texting for $5/mo. Very flexible, very customer-oriented.

That all changed when Verizon purchased them. The signal coverage remains the same, but now I'm being pressured into Verizon plans I don't want, and have been told different lies by different con-artist salespeople about the future of my account. These people are on commission and want to sell a new Verizon phone and account, which is understandable. However, when the Verizon site states clearly that I can keep my current Alltel plan and still upgrade to a new phone, and the guys in the store tell me contradictory information, it's frustrating. Verizon's phone selection is absolutely terrible, often several months behind the offerings of other carriers, and they seem intent on offering only the ugliest, bulkiest phones possible. Also frustrating is waiting in long lines only to be skipped over and not helped after waiting sometimes up to 45 minutes. This isn't in one place...Fayetteville, Southern Pines, Kernersville, Greensboro, all the same story. I was willing to see past these issues because I understand the merger is a difficult transition, and I still have fond memories of Alltel...however there comes a point when you realize that the Verizon sales reps DO NOT CARE TO DO BUSINESS WITH YOU. I'm an Android (Google Phone) developer, and while Droid is a nice phone, it's not worth the hassle of dealing with Verizon. Never again. I've switched to T-Mobile and it's great.
Net10 is by far one of the top prepaid services out there today. It even received the JD Power Award for "best no-contract experience". For just 10 cents per minute and 3 cents per text, I am saving tons - especially compared to my old monthly contract. Its perfect for me too because it keeps me in touch with my family for a great price!
The good: *Well-priced
*$200 card (expiration is 1 year after purchase) = 2000 minutes!!!
*Pre-paid
*No contract
*No monthly fee
*Text message & internet available!

The bad: *Basic phones
*Minutes expire if not used...depends on the card you get.
Summary: I needed a way for my wife to get a hold of our kids when picking them up from school, mall, etc - but I didn't want them to have anything extravagant...I didn't want my kids to be on the phone or texting for social purposes. THANK GOD FOR NET10!!!! I bought each child (14 yrs & 11 yrs) a $200 card...1 year expiration....2000 minutes. I explained that this is for a NEED ONLY basis...this was the best decision I could have made. It is a WONDERFUL service. This fits my needs perfectly. To all you parents out there contemplating purchasing a cell phone for your kids...forget the high priced monthly services & go straight to Net10! I promise you, you will NOT regret this...you end up saving substantially & teach your children self discipline! Nice job Tracfone! A+!
The good: I have had bad luck with sprint and metro pcs, talk text and web is great, I have a no problems in 2 years I have had it.
The bad: none
Summary: this is the best service I found since went to other companies who wanted outrageous deposits from me.Those who say boost mobile sucks needs to get a life and get their facts straight.
The good: features, apps, upgradeable memory
The bad: sometimes a little slow, only 3 megapixel camera
Summary: I got my mytouch in October 09 and have found it to be the perfect phone. It does everything I want a phone to do and has similar apps to my friends iphones. No regrets whatsoever with this phone. The apps are easy to download and install and there is a large variety to choose from.
The good: True 3D Capability (Deer Hunter 3D), neat widgets, email sync via mail@metro, full html web browsing with Youtube 3gp streaming, very good text messaging and call quality, fairly decent MetroNavigator gps with a pseudo 3D navigator (Shows images for directions), the voice recognition is pretty decent, 400x240 is IMO good for watching videos on, has both camera and camcorder, bluetooth, microsd support, MetroPCS allows you to use any mp3 as a ringtone, basic features (Alarm clock, unit converter,
The bad: Have to go through MetroPCS to get apps or games, accelerometer isn't always as snappy as it could be, you sometimes have to bob it to get it to recognize you turned it, camcorder could be better quality.
Summary: All things considered, it's a very solid phone and, despite the nitpicks, I thoroughly enjoy it and would recommend it as a MetroPCS costumer. If it was possible to get into the phone's internal memory (hack it), I'd probably give it a near perfect rating. As it stands, it's a good touchscreen phone for those who want a good, cheap service without having to settle for lesser phones.
The good: Great value for money, very clear call and text rates, free 300 minutes and 30 days when you buy a phone
The bad: Reportedly bad customer service (never first hand)
Summary: Of all the prepaid options out there Net10 is by far the most transparent and easy to understand. This translates to being able to keep very clear track of just how you spend your money. You can know with certainty that you'll be charged 10c a minute for any calls, local, long distance or roaming and 5c per text. As someone who hates all the hidden costs and service fees from banks and cell phone providers, this is a revelation to me. Its even big enough that I can take the bad stuff with a sense of humor and perspective, knowing what the up side is.
It's a great phone and easy to use.. good access to the web for emails, facebook and other stuffs.. i just dont like the hard plastic case for it coz it can scratch the chrome lining of the phone.. i just got mine for a few days and the sides are all scratched up already waaahhh.. so i just recommend the silicon case for it.. but over all the phone is all good and a user friendly one..
The good: Customer Service

The bad: Phones
Summary: My employer has required all the employees to have the same phone service, which meant I had to cancel my T-Mobile phone and services after being with them since they were available in the state of Florida. I have been a loyal customer and they have treated me like I was their most important client. Even after my service was terminated, I needed to call about a question on my bill. The problem was addressed after being on hold less than one minute. Philip, my customer service rep was patient, understanding, apologetic, and took care of my needs immediately. Quite frankly he was AWESOME! I will miss T-Mobile and I am sure their customer service! T-Mobile,...I will be back.
The good: customization, open source, HTC Sense UI
The bad: Battery life (what's new?)
Summary: I've had this phone for about a 3 weeks and love it. I recently upgraded it to Android 2.1 and love it even more. I have a tethering app and have customized it so that my laptop is an accessory to it and NOT vice versa, as this phone has all the functionality of a pc. I have recommended it to a friend who was all set to get the MOTO Droid...he did get the moto droid and then exchanged it for this when he saw what it was made of. I recommend the upgrade, it's simple and makes the most of this phone, sense UI is perfect with 2.1, but out of the box, this phone still rocks and even without the upgrade I was still very happy with it. I'm a geeky girl, love my gadgets and this phone meets my cravings for things that go blip.
The good: Best phone I ever had. Works real well with my hearing aids, in fact best of any phones. Have never dropped a call.A real Smart Phone.
The bad: None
Summary: I am very happy with this phone. Senior people like myself using hearing aids, are limited to good phones. This phone I feel is the best phone for my needs and fact excels that. I highly recommend this phone for hearing aid users.
The good: Lightweight, Cheap, Indestructible, Easy to Use, and Great Call Quality
The bad: Battery Life (later on; see summary), Buttons, and not much else.
Summary: This was my first cell phone, and it worked great. After owning it for almost 2 years, I still love it. For some reason, after a while, the 4 button would only register half of the time, which was annoying while texting, but that was it. The only reason that I stopped using it (it still works) is that the battery life got down to the point where I could barely make it through a day on one charge and light use. When I could only find replacement batteries that cost almost as much as the phone itself, I decided to get a new one. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap phone that goes a bit beyond Tracfone's entry level phones.
The good: Good Service, Great Rate. No Early Termination Fee
The bad: More Phone Selections
Summary: Wow....I have had absolutely no problems with customer service or my phone service in general. My $50 plan works great. Just upgraded my phone and only miss the Push To Talk on my new phone. I get all my emails, test messages, great web surfing and no issue with dropped calls.........LOVE IT. Best of all no overages, no termination fees.
The good: I live out in the country and the Net10 reception is good here. Also my house has a metal roof. A lot of cell phones can't get reception under a metal roof, but I've never had a problem with Net10.
The bad: Buying minutes online is too complicated. Giving your cell phone number should be enough. It must be obvious you're buying minutes for your phone if you give your number.
Summary: Overall, I think Net10 is a very good service. It's cheap and I've traveled coast to coast without a glitch in reception, plus there are no roaming charges to worry about. Also, if I'm low on minutes, there are lots of places that sell cards with minutes. One of the Net10 features I like best is international calling. That may not be a big deal to a lot of people, but I have good friends in other countries and I can chat with them for little or nothing.
The good: Great value for money, does what it was made for. No expensive and binding contracts. Unlimited for $50.
The bad: Cs took a few minutes to sort things out. but who minds when you saving this much money
Summary: I got a net10 phone when i moved to New York when my phone went missing. Loved it ever since. It works and im so glad to just have something that is hassle free. I?m saving allot of money on the unlimited plan and i got a nice phone. What more do you need!
The good: amazing customer service! you can change your plan to fit your needs yourself, on-line. Easy pay. 5 faves
The bad: bad coverage in many areas resulting in dropped calls.
Summary: I have had t-moble for 6 years. The customer service is fantastic. I like having the ability to update my faves monthly if i need to. no problems.
The good: Great customer service. Service and monthly rate plans for a great price.
The bad: None at this time
Summary: I had Verizon Wireless for 4 years and my only complain with them was the long lines in the stores and very dissappointing in store customer service. I switch to T-Mobile early 2009 and I find that there is no difference in service coming from Verizon. For the cost, its definitely worth making the switch. T-Mobile is finally coming out with great devices. First carrier to carry the Android phones and now all the other carriers follow. Great company and well worth the switch
The good: Good camera, easy to use, light weight, very durable
The bad: Sometimes plays music if you don't lock it since the play button is on the front of the phone.
Summary: I absolutely love this phone, my boyfriend got me an hct fuze and I took it back and continued to use my nokia. I've dropped this phone in the toilet 3 times and it still works great! It's been thrown against walls, floors, dropped on concrete, etc... and it's never broken just scratched. This phone is easy to use and the camera is awesome for this little phone.
