The good: Good cellular coverage
The bad: Out dated phones!!! Out dated phones!!! Out dated phones!!! Out dated phones!!!
Summary: Why do they take 6 - 10 months to release a then out dated phone? Testing? Why can so many other wireless companies test phones quicker. INVEST MORE IN GETTING NEW PHONE TECHNOLOGY OUT THE DOOR QUICKER, AND YOU WILL HAVE MORE CUSTOMERS THAN YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH. And yes, your data speeds better be up to the challenge too. Learn from AT&T's mistakes. People want good service, but they also want value for their monthly bills and new technology in hand does help!!! This delay needs to be greatly reduced. Why do you think they are loosing customers? Keep this up and you will be forced to sell to a larger wireless provider, and the price tag won't make investors happy. If you can't stay current within a couple of months of the latest phone technology, get out of the game!!! You are wasting my and so many others time. I am currently looking to jump ship, just like so many others.

Also, customer service has been good and bad. Mostly bad from my own experience, but it has a lot to do with the lack of knowledge by the representative.

Well, I guess we know their not spending the extra money on training either!!! Nice!!Reply | Spam
The good: great display, 2 keypads, full qwerty, different home screen layouts
The bad: the screen does not switch orientations very fast, the menus are really complicated, fat
Summary: I really love this phone, and it has lasted me for over a year and a half so far
The good: Good battery life, insanely rugged, good enough camera
The bad: its a little slow sometimes but you have to get used to it
Summary: I absolutely love this phone. i hate all the phones with full keyboards and that crap, will never have one. this phone is most deffinetly waterproof, i left it in the snow overnight once (by accident) and dropped it so many times in lakes/streams/use in shower. The battery life gets really good after you have it for a while, i can get at least 3 days. the camera is pretty nice for a rugged phone... i love the feel of the phone it just feels solid. it is a little on the slow side, especially picture loading but you have to get used to it. all the people that b***h about it turning off try to do way more than it can handle which i found to cause it to shut it off, so calm down people

Great phone highly recommended
The good: Features, Speed, Facebook and other Social Networking Apps, Messaging, and Theme/Settings Diversity.
The bad: Battery Life, Freezes Occasionally
Summary: I've had a Samsung TouchScreen, RAZR, RAZR 2 V9M, MOTO Clutch, and several other phones, and by far, this beats them all. I loved having a touch screen but they freeze alot and scratch so easily, so they are really aggravating. This phone definetly makes up for it with its large screen, great QWERTY keypad, scrollball, and features. All-in-all, I would recommend this phone to anyone (including experienced smartphone users and the beginners who have never owned one). It does freeze up occasionally when you overuse it or bind it down with several apps running at once, and sometimes restarts itself. The app memory could be increased greatly, but it's fair. And the battery life is ok but not outstanding. But....as long as you are not using it and keep it on the "standby" mode, the battery lasts great...where I work, I'm under a steel reinforced ceiling with concrete overlay, which means that I can hardly get any signal inside and the phone has to work overtime to achieve a signal, which severely drains battery lift. So, I keep mine on standby mode while at work, and when I leave, it's almost completely full. When off of standby mode, it still has over half of the battery life left when I get out of work. The features of the phone are awesome...Facebook works pretty good and looks cool, as well as Myspace, Email, and the Blackberry Internet. Ringtones also sound great and the camera is definetly a plus with a great flash. So, overall, this is a great phone with alot of good awesome features and pretty good battery life!

PS. I have Boost Mobile and purchased my Blackberry through them on the $60 per month prepaid plan. It works great! Also, as for the couple of people who were on here complaining about their phone freezing up (even after them and their family members have tried several of them), are overexaggerating greatly. They have probably downloaded several apps and ignored the warning message that comes up saying "your application memory is almost full, please select an app to remove" If you ignore those, your phone will restart and freeze all the time because it has no memory left to run your apps.
The good: looks good, talking on the phone is very clear, typing isn't that hard on the touchscreen, solid construction. pictures from the camera in daytime look very good.
The bad: my first battery gave up on me 1month and 4 days after getting it. I got a new one and it seems to be working. touchscreen is incredibly choppy under normal conditions, but it freaks out and lags when you get a text message, definitely not a good phone for someone who gets texts all the time. the phone would probably burst into flames.
camera has no exposure adjustments whatsoever, so taking pictures in dark or dimly lit rooms is impossible. also the predictive texting is the most retarded o
Summary: As a phone, its very good. as a music player, it sounds good. As a camera, its only good in the daylight. If you buy it primarily for texting, you will probably hate it.
The good: Everything! Brightness, easy to use, email, facebook, music, touch screen... I could go on and on!
The bad: Unlocking when on a call
Summary: This phone is awesome. I've had it for about 4 months now and I have literally loved every second of it. The only tiny detail that bugs me is when I make a call automatically locks... but all you have to do is his the center button and unlock. This phone gets email, has great sound quality, and does NOT require you to be tech savy. I moved onto this phone from an LG flip phone I had since 2005 (basically only did calls and texts) and I learned the phone in a day. I 100% recommend it!!!
After six months, the bushings/hinges in the flip feature have worn to the point that the phone no longer locks in the open position. The top part (ear piece) closes if you are not careful as to how you hold the phone causing the call to be dropped. Two associates of mine have this same problem with their tundra !!
The good: A very solid phone with a lot of potential. it comes with a great auto focus camera and best of all- ANDROID software. It makes the phone fully customizable.
The bad: It needs a BIG software update. its slow, the touchscreen is too sensitive, and sometimes the phone wont work for what its meant for- phone calls. More then often i have to restart the phone so i can answer my calls. also, several apps don't work at times and force close.
Summary: If we can get a Motoblur update as well as the Android 2.0 update will make this thing a 10 out of 10. I had the G1 before and really liked it. This phone's more solid and stylish. if the problems are repaired, then I'll like it more. my rating now? i give it a 6 out of 10.
The good: touch screen without having to buy internet service
The bad: difficult to text on touch screen, the key pad is best for texting
Summary: I have had my phone for 3 months and already have had problems. The phone randomly cuts on and off and also when dialing out I cant hear anything on my end. The phone will call out and the other person can hear but on my end there is no sound. How am I suppose to use a phone for 2 years when it is already having problems at 3 months!!!
The good: I love the Qwerty keyboard and the picture quality as well as the picture editing features.
The bad: after having the phone a few day to a week any out going call you make will not work no one can hear you andd you can't hear them, the Neon freezes a lot esp if its not FULLY charged, I have replaced my Neon three times now and am now switching to a diff phone.
Also you can not use your voice recording as ring tones or alarms.
you will regret it if you buy the LG Neon.
Summary: It is a cute looking phone, I really like the keyboard and camera/camcorder, however it is really not worth it with the constant out going call trouble, and the screen freezing, I will not recommend the LG Neon phone to anybody.
I tried to make it work and just live with this phone, but I liked my cheap WallMart phone better, due to the screen freezing and call trouble. (And thats saying a lot cause I really didn't like my WallMart phone.)
The good: Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA)
The bad: None.
Summary: I purchase the e815 phone new in 2005 from verizon wireless and I can honestly say I have had no problems with the phone. I have been a verizon wireless customer since June 2000 and I have no intentions on changing carriers.
The good: ANDROID - Very light - nice feel in hand, pocket and against face during calls - Customizable - Fast - No UI to slow it down or delay updates
The bad: Coming from a Blackberry, I can't think of any yet...
Summary: My wife and I had Motorola Cliq's, both with the same non responsive touchscreen glitch that many others have had (even after Moto's OTA update). Traded them for 2 new myTouch 3.5mm's and totally love them. They may not be as great as the N1 but i'm not about to pay $530 a piece to have this months greatest Android device. This is a great device. Things myTouch does better than Cliq = call quality, weight, overall design, pure OS, BATTERY LIFE, touch screen response, full length charging cable, no MotoBlur outages to kill your phone, customization, sorry either i really disliked my Cliq or just really like the myTouch 3.5mm - did i mention the myTouch has a very small increase in RAM over the Cliq (288 vs 256)?
The good: Sound quality, Android 1.6 OS, HTC Sense, quite good response on screen even though it's a resistive type, snappy, small, battery life is great.
The bad: No multitouch, camera is not very good.
Summary: I'm a student - and I'm therefore constantly broke, so getting an Android based smartphone for 283? sounded like to good a deal to miss. I bought my Tattoo 1 month ago, and so far I havent been dissapointed at all! The camera isn't great when light is sparse, but I knew this before I bought the phone. Other than that, the phone is better than I expected - In every way. I use it for E-mailing, sms'ing, talking and webbrowsing every day and the battery still lasts at least 2 days. The smart dictionary embedded in Android is fantastic when writing messages and the soundquality is well above average. I can only recommend this phone to people looking for a fantastic smartphone whilst on a tight budget.
The good: Holds up to abuse, battery life is good
The bad: orange on silver keys are hard to read, Reception is spotty.
Summary: Updating software has done nothing to improve the poor reception. My sister and her husband have Motorola phones that get strong signals where I get none. By coincidence, my bro-in-law's union issued to him the same phone- identical problems. We all have Verizon service. Camera was downsized from 2.0 megs to 1.3 megs. Perhaps to make room for bluetooth. Shouldn't reception be a priority? Why else do you buy a phone?
The good: customer service is great...like there phones and you can get them anywhere..always coming out with another new phone..service center is about mile and half away and they are patient people
The bad: cant really think of none..me,wife,friends all have tmobile and i never hear anyone complaining about there service or phones
Summary: i am truck driver and just work in the city of charleston sc but live about 35 minutes away from where i work and i seldom drop calls..signal is most of the time high and text and pic or very fast and i even send voice with text and works great...my phone and phone service is not an issue but my car is...i have samsung memoir phone and dont want nothing else..very dependable and lots of toys in this samsung and got good service to match...my bill runs about 56 dollars a month...i know how to use that favorites 5 deal
The good: Sense UI
form factor
feel
android OS
Good Trackball
The bad: Battery life
Screen size could have been 3.5"
Summary: Overall, I would take this phone over the Droid. I think that the form factor, and Sense UI really help for the consumer. I think that the Droid, and other Windows Mobile phones that are in the same category are directed for business use. This phone really helps by bringing all the social services together, all in one contact. I think this is the best phone on Verizon, no matter what the cost is.
The good: Good design, comfortable in hand and pocket, VERY customizable, durable, you can set it to lock upon sliding shut, AMAZING battery life (about 2 full days for my device)
The bad: Middle button goes to Internet. The speaker phone could be a little louder.
Summary: I've had the phone for a few months and it works great. The middle button does go straight to internet, however you can set the phone so that it automatically locks when slid shut and that helps control any unwanted browsing. I was looking for a phone that was a bit more high end but I didn't need a smart phone and I didn't want to pay for a phone that would come with a bunch of apps that i don't use. This device does carry more than average apps though. It has GPS and yellowpages, a nice music player with xm, and 1000 available address book entries. It is an all around great phone. I've even dropped it a few times and it still works smooth, even the slide is still smooth.
I worried that this phone might be too bulky but it is not. Im a pretty small girl person with small jean pockets and it still fits in the pockets. it is not too big in my hand nor does it look like im talking on a cell phone from 1999.
The good: Everything...voice quality, battery life, both great!! Ease of use...perfect!!
The bad: NONE!! I've had the Versa since July of 2009 and can not find anything I don't like about it!!
Summary: I would recommend this phone to anyone who uses Text, Internet Browser...etc!!
The good: Pretty fast, GPS and the apps working hand and hand together, bright and sharp display, speaker phone great, great blue tooth controls, android device so access to thousands of apps. So many more great features to list.
The bad: Voice command can sometimes be fustrating at times.
Battery could be better but not too bad.
Summary: Over all, this is one of the greatest phones I had and seen. 800mhz really makes a difference when compaired to the other phones. A must have for sprint customers
The good: Easy for texting, durable. Amazing battery life, i can text all day and it will last for days without a need for recharging
The bad: Has a manufacter defect, the original battery is to small, and could try to fail.easy fix though, just need to say that it keeps dieing and u get a free battery
Summary: Awesome phone. Mine has survived much abuse, from being dropping multiple times to be dropped in a lake for 2 minute. Some people have bad luck with it, where it breaks all the time. i have had my for over year and it is perfect for texting
