The good: Cheap, dependable, great battery life
The bad: Virtually no fun at all, no apps
Summary: Decent cheap phone. Going back to Sprint soon for the Evo
The good: When I first got with Sprint, long ago, they were and still are cost effective for me.
While VZW's deposits=$400, Sprint's only =$125.
The bad: Sprint seems to lack the ability to have a good selection of the latest and greatest phones.
Summary: While I've had problems with Sprint they do well in resolving them when I complain. I'm constantly tempted to go to other providers because they have a bigger selection of 'New Hotness' when it comes to phones. I do need to give Sprint a pat on the back for effort, they are getting better and not only in the phone department. Waiting to see what else they have on the back burner simmering.
The good: long battery life, full qwerty keyboard, social network widgets, 3.5mm headphone jack, 3.2mp camera, whisper mode
The bad: no camera flash, no auto-focus, hardware keys on front raised a little too much (my personal opinion)
Summary: this phone is a nice multimedia phone from verizon. first off, the qwerty keyboard is very easy to use and the sliding mechanism is OK, not great. the slider is a little (idk how to describe it really) rough, and although the screen feels secure (it doesn't wobble around much) down or up, it feels a little "cheap". the touch screen is resistive and as far as i can tell, there are no settings for its sensitivity. the touch screen does work well, and has haptic feedback. i upgraded to this phone from a motorola w755 and compared to that phone, i love this one. the camera quality is good, but not great. the night shot dramatically brightens photos taken in low light and it does a good job of capturing the color in low light although you do lose some picture quality and it would be better with a flash. it doesn't have auto-focus but still does fine. there are many editing features for photos such as adding animation. it can record 640x480 resolution video at 15fps. this phone is very customizable. you have 3 home screens which you can fill with widgets such as shortcuts, facebook, and the music player. the music player is wonderful. through the speaker, the lowest volume setting is extremely quiet and the loudest setting is pretty loud. the sound quality is excellent. it does have a 3.5mm headphone jack which (in my opinion) sounds just as good as my ipod touch. i could go on more about this phone, but just take my word for it, its a nice phone with lots of features. the screen seems to go crazy when set to auto brightness, like it doesn't want to stay at one brightness level. a few other features i like are the whisper mode during a call which does exactly what it sounds like, it allows u to whisper into the phone and still have the other person hear you. i also think the motion detection (by turning the phone screen down) to silence an incoming call or snooze an alarm (i just thought this was cool thought idk if i'll ever use it). the stereo bluetooth sounds better (although the distance is shorter) than any other music device that i've used with bluetooth speakers, including my laptop, an ipod touch, and my old phone. i would definitely recommend this phone to others.
The good: Great phone. Java apps available. GPS hacks on line. Clear reception and no dropped calls. Durable. I have dropped it many times. Good volume. As smart as a phone can be without the "smartphone" plan. Surf and talk. I just love this phone. I have had it for almost a year now and I am very attached.
The bad: No voice dial. Samsung PC Studio is not intuitive to use.
Summary: On the whole, if you have a chance to get this phone (even though it is outdated) get it!
The good: fun first touch screen, easy to learn to use, excellent manual and on board help key, great speaker for conference calls and music, good photo colors, great to have web access, touch sensitivity adjustable.
The bad: Shutter lag is terrible, internet connection must be constantly refreshed, the offering of apps(widgets) is very slim, no streaming music, zoom on camera broke after one week, cannot install USB driver (32bit) to Windows 7 (64 bit), battery is worthless and gets really hot when it is recharging (daily)
Summary: The dissapointment is always greatest when you have great expectations....I was looking forward to lots of great photos of my kids. Too bad they are always moving and the shutter clicks open long after you press the button....pics are always blurry.
Wanted music. Streaming radio (no available app)and Mp3 off my PC. No go there, either. The Caliber USB driver is 32 bit, and I am using Windows 7, 64 bit. Samsung wrote "we do not have a driver for Win 7."
The good: Very impressive touch screen, camera, and qwerty keyboard.
The bad: very short battery life
hinges became loose very quickly
when i dropped it, it didnt stop immediately(when i dropped it at least 2 feet away from the pool, it fell in by bouncing)
multiple times, i would turn my phone off, turn it back on and the volume would be all the way up, my settings on my wallpapers, shortcuts, and ERI banner would disappear..?
internet was slow most of the time.
when i tried to lock my phone, i knew for sure what my passcode was..and it wouldnt let me
Summary: overall, i liked the phone.. im not a very picky person when it comes to phones, but the wallpaper thing really got on my nerves..and ive known several people that it happens to.
The good: Price, Versatility, Speed, lots of apps, wifi, call quality, multitasking, battery life!
The bad: Ghetto-looking Winmo 6.5 makes you feel like you're back in 2002. User interface is similarly outdated, low-res screen compared to blackberry.
Summary: I was looking for a solid smartphone that was inexpensive and would let me take advantage of Sprint's great service pricing. This phone DOES it all, as long as you don't mind a somewhat 'ghetto' looking user interface. Winmo 6.5 in the Intrepid is unskinned in many areas and lacking any pleasing eye-candy that you might find in the touch-pro series.

However, this phone offers great battery life, true multitasking, and good call quality. It also offers push email and google calendar sync using the integrated ActiveSync. It's a truly powerful phone that will do everything you want it to do, if you can look past it's somewhat outdated and awkward OS. For example, you need to use an aftermarket program just to add a few favorite apps to the homescreen, otherwise you're stuck scrolling through an awkward layout of staggered app icons in a different menu. Also, the screen resolution is about half that of a Blackberry Tour.. but you do get wifi and native pocket-MS office and a PDF reader.
The good: Very clear graphics, widgets make things a lot easier
The bad: Texting takes a little while to get used to, the phone turns off sometimes for no reason
Summary: I got this phone around a month ago. I like the fact that theres a little vibration when you touch the screen and that there are many volume settings. When you go on the internet it is very easy to navigate. The only thing that bothers me with the phone is that it randomly turns off and then wont turn back on for a while. But then once it does, it is completely fine again.
The good: Low rates. No BS. No daily charges. Free roaming. No hidden fees. No contract. Great phones. Excellent network coverage with great call quality.
The bad: Customer service can be tricky.
Summary: I switched over from a contract and was impressed after the first month already that my cell expenses had dropped by 50%. I have very few call related problems - mostly in places where I couldn't make any calls before anyway. NET10 got rid of a lot of the rip-off tactics some of the other carriers use to gouge their customers. Their only flaw is their less-than-stellar CS. I've found that if I get a rep on the other side that can't understand what I want in the first 30seconds, it's best to hang up and try again. Fortunately I've only had to phone CS a couple of times in 6 months.
The good: Good reception
Simple
Inexpensive
The bad: No camera

Summary: I have been pretty happy for the past 6 months with my LG300 phone and Net10 service. I live in San Francisco and have traveled to New York -- no problem with the reception so far. My calling needs are very simple though-- I use about 5 mins a day and am okay with this very simple phone. I have been able to spend no more than $15 each month to upkeep this phone.
The good: Great savings, texting plans, roll forward minutes, no contract option, pay as you go, low cost phones, downloads.
The bad: Limited selection of phones, sometimes patchy reception in certain areas, poor customer service reviews
Summary: Despite any negative reviews I might have found when I was researching for a new carrier, I still decided to go with Virgin Mobile and I've been happily surprised. I opted to go no-contract since it was the reason I left my previous carrier and Virgin's pay-as-you go option fit me prefectly. I cut down my minutes drastically and went with a $20/200 minute plan with roll forward and $10 for 1,000 texting and $30 a month is a huge break over the $110 I was previously paying. While the phone selection is limited, it hardly expensive and has some really great buys and the calling network has been very dependable.

I know I've been lucky in these times to have and keep a phone when so many others can't afford it and Virgin Mobile has program dealing with just that. Their "Assurance Wireless" program is being in offered in five states and exclusively to low income, qualifying families and its an amazing deal. Qualifers can get both a phone and 200 minutes, with no fees or contract, for $10 a month with the potential to expand their program at .10 a minute. While the program is new, I can only hope it will expand to more states and people who could also use a plan like this.

I might not be low-income, but the savings would totally help me. Times are tough and having a cell phone is a must so click here for Sprint president's email address: http://assurancewireless.webs.com and let him know that everyone could use these savings.
The good: Good phones, Long battery life, cheap minutes, Very good emergence phones.
The bad: Cs can be a little troublesome, but you can get around them easily if you try

Summary: We have 3 net10 phones we keep for emergences in the two cars and one in the house. They are just in case phones, But we do use them at least several times amount in the cars as my husbands company give us free regional phones, they don?t work out of the city we live in and there is never signal anywhere, when there is they charge us so much. Net10 is great most of the time with few problems.
The good: Saves a great deal of money $$$
The bad: Only low income support :(
Summary: Sprint's new Assurance program is a big money-saver. All you do is email the President of the company, Mr. Hesse, and tell him you want the 200 minutes/month for $10 offer. Even if you don't quality for low income support, we still deserve to save money with this great deal just as the new customers do. I personally think its an awesome deal and think all Sprint customers like myself should be able to use it :)

Here's the link for President of Sprint's email address: assurancewireless.webs.com
Verizon has one of the best service and wont let u down, they are also coming out with great phones like droid and devour they are the best! :))
The good: Great Price
The bad: Not a lot of phone selection but that is starting to change
Summary: I have had boost mobile for over a year now and have never had any real issues....infact when I was with contact carriers I had issues every week. They dont have a lot of selections with phones but that is starting to change. I have the BlackBerry curve and it works great. I rearly lose signal and the areas that I do are complete dead spots for all carriers in this location.

I know some people do have poor service with boost but not every service works for everyone, some locations get better service with certain carriers only----like with any purchase with any phone/carrier--you need to check your coverage for your area and if you dont then DON'T COMPLAIN its your own fault!
The good: Nothing
The bad: Screen rolls constantly
gmail doesnt work, you tube doesnt work
not a business users phone
Summary: Absolutely the worst phone I've ever used. Nothing but a crazy confusing environment.

Rather have windows mobile or blackberry
The good: 10 cents per minute without the hassle. This is awesome and just what I need after being overcharged at Verizon for the past several years.
The bad: There seems to be some disgruntled people commenting on here. Makes me wonder who they're representing.
Summary: This seems like the most straightforward, what you see is what you get, no-contract service for cellular users in the US. God bless America. If Boost keeps their rates reasonable and offers promotions to long-term customers then I'll be happy to stay with them for as long as possible.
The good: Cheap! Works great!
The bad: Nothing fancy here. If you're looking for the coolest and latest, this is not the phone for you.
Summary: Tracphone usage runs me an average of about $12/mo. In the 5-1/2 years as a customer, I have never had a problem and the phones work just fine. I am currently on my 4th Tracphone. Nobody can touch these guys if you just need to have a cheap basic phone for infrequent use. I am one very satisfied customer and very much richer for using Tracphone over any other service. I have saved tons of $$$ over the years.
The full keyboard is a great benefit. The two free months and 300 minutes to start was nice and the flat rate is doable. Is great for my kids, its a cool enough phone for them and the service saves me alot of money compared to contracts for them.
The good: Its a nice phone ive had it for almost a week now, its good battery life, fun to play with, not to bad to work or understand. Has some nice cool stuff on it more then i thought but not as much as i thought either. simple calculator for $330 is kind of stupid i think. pretty good though over all so far.
The bad: very hard time finding apps for it simple free ones like a calculator with 1/x key.

I think it has a small issue with reading an SD card but could be doing better now as i work with it more

price, is high i mean it doesnt so as much as the iphone.. so kinda bad in price
Summary: good phone, easy to learn, fun to play with and have. could had better calculator though only real thing i found i didnt like.
