T-Mobile is celebrating the weekend by pushing software updates to some of its smartphones.
T-Mobile has announced new updates for its Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy S9, and Galaxy S9+. The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge updates are both around 46MB in size, with the S7 getting version G930TUVS4BRC1 and the S7 edge receiving version G935TUVS4BRC1. Both phones are getting the April 2018 Android security patches and some unspecified bug fixes.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S9 is receiving a 343MB update to version G960USQU2ARC6 and the Galaxy S9+ is getting a 373MB update to version G965USQU2ARC6. These phones are getting Android security updates of their own as well as some bug fixes.
All of these updates are rolling out over the air. We haven't spotted any S9 or S9+ owners that've gotten their update quite yet, but since the rollout just began, that should change in the next day or two. You can also manually check for an update by going into Settings > Software update > Download updates manually.
