The Galaxy S9 won't officially launch for another week, but Samsung is already pushing out the first software update for its new flagship.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ is now receiving a software update in Germany, and the update should begin rolling out in other regions shortly. According to SamMobile, the update is 242MB and includes the March 2018 security patches.
After the update is installed, the Galaxy S9 will be on software version G960FXXU1ARC5 and the Galaxy S9+ will be on software version G965FXXU1ARC5.
Most people don't have the Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9+ yet, but they should have this update waiting for them when they get their phone next week. These are the latest Android security patches that Google has released, and I'm sure anyone getting a new S9 or S9+ will be pleased to see their expensive new phone
