Apple today pushed the second iOS 11.2.5 beta release this week.
iOS 11.2.5 beta 7 is now available. It's being released to both developers and public testers in Apple's Beta Software Program, so if you fall into one of those two camps, you can grab this update by going into Settings > General Software Update.
The update to iOS 11.2.5 appears to include a fix for the chaiOS bug that can cause iPhones to freeze and possibly crash. With this bug, a malicious link that's filled with hundreds of thousands of characters and when the Messages app tries to load a preview, the app can freeze and the phone itself may crash.
Apple today also released watchOS 4.2.2 beta 5 to developers. Devs can grab this update by launching the Watch app on their iPhone and then going to General > Software Update.
