The HTC U11 Plus has been rather leaky lately. First it appeared in some leaked renders, then some images of the actual device made their way online. Now the U11 Plus’s specs have been revealed as well.
The specs for the HTC U11 Plus have leaked out thanks to @evleaks. The upcoming HTC phablet will reportedly pack a 6-inch WQHD+ LCD screen and a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and dual LED flash. Around front will be an 8-megapixel camera for your selfie needs.
Inside the HTC U11 Plus’s shell will be a Snapdragon 835 processor, microSD slot, a 3,930mAh battery, and Quick Charge 3.0 support. It’s expected that there will be two variants of the U11 Plus: one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Rounding out the spec list for the U11 Plus is IP68 water and dust resistance, Edge Sense for performing actions by squeezing the sides of the phone, and BoomSound audio enhancements.
If this leaked spec list is accurate, the HTC U11 Plus will share many specs with the HTC U11 that launched earlier this year. There are a few notable differences between the phones, though, like a bigger screen and battery on the U11 Plus. Also of note is that the U11 has a 16-megapixel front camera while the U11 Plus is expected to have an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter.
One other difference is that, according to leaked images, the U11 Plus will have a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. The HTC U11’s fingerprint reader is on the front of the device, below the display.
HTC is making an announcement on November 2nd, and it’s expected that the HTC U11 Plus will be revealed then.
