On the same day that its rival introduced new story features, Snapchat has made an announcement of its own.

Snapchat is now rolling out support for custom Stories. With a custom Story, you can decide who can add to it and who can view it. You can also add a geofenced location to a Story if you’re using it for a party or something similar.

Custom Stories will disappear if no one adds to them in 24 hours.

Also rolling out today is a new Bitmoji feature. Specifically, your Bitmoji selfie will now appear inside your Snapcode.
