Today Google confirmed that it’ll launch two Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches early next year. But what if you’ve already got an Android Wear smartwatch that you’re happy with? You may not have to upgrade to get new features to play with.

Most of the devices on that list aren’t a surprise, as they’ve been released fairly recently. Still, it’s good to get confirmation that these watches will get Android Wear 2.0, which will be a significant update.
Android Wear 2.0 is expected to begin rolling out in early 2017. It’ll bring with it new features like standalone apps, smart replies, handwriting support, and Android Pay on watches with the supported hardware (aka NFC).
