Remember Google Play Family Library? We caught wind of this new feature back in May, and two months later, the feature is finally launching.

Google Play Family Library is now rolling out, and as its name suggests, the feature will let you share your Google Play purchases with your family members. Up to six family members will be able to share purchased apps, games, movies, TV shows, and books for no extra charge. The feature works on Android devices, and movies, TV shows, and books can also be viewed on iOS devices and on the web.

Family Library also lets you monitor the purchase settings for your family members, meaning that you can require that a family member’s purchase be approved by you before it goes through. Google will also let you individually choose which purchases you want to share with a toggle on the item’s Play Store page.

Google says that its Family Library feature is now rolling out and will continue to hit users over the coming days. It’ll be available in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Google Play Family Library is a big addition to Android. With it, you can easily share any awesome apps that you find with your spouse, kids, or whoever else. For example, if you find a game that you’re really into, your loved one can download it for no extra charge and compete with you.
