The LG V10 isn’t the only Android smartphone that AT&T is now updating to Marshmallow.
AT&T has confirmed that it’s now updating its LG G Vista 2 to Android 6.0.1. The update is now rolling out over the air and, in addition to Marshmallow, it adds AT&T Video Call support. The update weighs in at around 890MB, and you’re going to need to be on Wi-Fi to download it, which is probably a good thing considering its size.
The LG G Vista 2 launched last year as a phablet device with a stylus and an affordable price tag. It’s not a super high-end phone, packing specs like 2GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 617 processor, which is why it’s nice to that it’s getting a bump to Android 6.0.1, and at the same time as the AT&T version of the much higher-end LG V10, no less.
If you’ve got an LG G Vista 2 on AT&T, you can either wait for this update to make its way to your phone or you can check for it manually by going into Settings > General tab > About Phone > Update Center > Software Update > Update Now.
