Sprint today announced a pair of new Android phones for Boost Mobile, Sprint's prepaid subsidiary, called the Conquest and the Elevate. The Conquest is available starting today for $129.99 without a commitment, and it offers the following specs:
The Conquest looks like a nice little Android phone for Boost customers looking for an affordable device. It’s got a 5-inch 720p display that’s big but not too big, a microSD slot for added storage, and a body that should be able to withstand your summer fun thanks to its scratch-resistant screen and its body that can stand up to some dust and water.
Moving on, we’ve got the Alcatel OneTouch Elevate. This one’s launching in August at a price of $99.99 without a commitment, and its price tag isn’t the only thing that is shrunken from the Conquest. Here are the Elevate’s specs:
Some of the Elevate’s specs are a little lower-end than those found on the Conquest, but the Elevate is also $30 cheaper. The Elevate’s 4.5-inch screen could make it appealing to folks that prioritize one-handed use when looking for a new phone, and hey, it’s always good to see new devices launch with the latest publicly available version of Android (which, as of this writing, is 5.1).
