Despite the fact that I know a lot of people who dislike big screens, many of those same people have switched to an iPhone 6. Some of them even went all the way to the iPhone 6 Plus. They complain about big screens still, and they still wish that Apple made phones that were smaller (as its flagship), but they also admit the positives now, too.
Apple was late to the big smartphone game, for plenty of reasons probably, but the end result after all that waiting was the newest flagships, and quite a few people like them. Personally I think they're slippery pieces of design, and I fear for my face's health at certain times when I'm using the 6 Plus. But let's be honest: the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus aren't the only slippery devices out there, and they certainly won't be the last.
They are the only two devices that have ever made me consider a case, though.
Apple believes a lot of people switched from their large Android phones to the large iPhones, and I imagine with as many iPhones as the company sold in just a matter of three months, that's probably the case. I can say that I know a lot of people who were just waiting for Apple to make a "big phone," because the only reason they switched to Android (or even Windows Phone) was because they were tired of their 4- or even their 3.5-inch smartphone.
So Apple created the devices that people were demanding. Had demanded for years, and a lot of those people will probably admit that the wait was worth it. But I've got a pretty straightforward question:
Did you actually switch?
And if you switched to the iPhone or the iPhone 6 Plus, which one did you switch to and why? Which phone did you come from? Was this the iPhone that won you over? And if it was, what about the latest flagship from Apple drew your attention -- and your money? Let me know!
