David Marcus, a Facebook Messenger employee, has revealed that Facebook is now running a “small test” that will provide a transcription of the voice messages that they receive. Marcus went on to explain that Facebook is testing this feature “at a tiny scale” to see what users think of it before rolling it out to a wider user base.
