Just when I got done with my early review of the new T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8900 (Curve II), TMo PR hits us up with this: Here comes the Shadow (Shadow II) and Nokia 7510 ... available right now!

In TMo's words, the new Shadow features "a more rounded andcompact design with two new color options, support for T-MobileUnlimited HotSpot Calling, and increased processing power, the newShadow is the perfect device for sharing life's special moments. The new device is also the first Windows-based phone to provide supportfor T-Mobile's Unlimited HotSpot Calling service."  So it's basically a slider phone with a compact QWERTY board and a user friendly layer of UI running atop Windows Mobile.  $150 on contract, available in two "fashionable" colors.

Nokia's 7510, on the other hand, is an in expensive new way to get yourself some of that HotSpot luv (otherwise known as UMA calling).  TMo's UMA service works really well - your call is routed over WiFi instead of cellular signal when an open WiFi network is available, resulting in better call quality and saving you precious voice minutes as none are deducted from your monthly balance during UMA calling.  I've used HotSpot on many a TMo phone, from the original Shadow to the new BB 8900, and it just keeps getting better.

That one will run you 50 bucks on contract.
