Here you go, Sidekick fiends: The new T-Mobile Sidekick. That's actually what it's officially called - Not the Gekko or Aspen or anything like that, but the "T-Mobile Sidekick," aka "The New Sidekick," aka "Sidekick 2008." The story here is updated features and interchangeable shells. For $10/pop or two for fifteen you can design and purchase plastic shells that snap on and off of the Sidekick to customize the look. We've got a custom PhoneDog.com shell on the way - or so I've been told ...
Meantime the new Sidekick rocks a 2MP camera with video capture and video share capabilities, an improved Web browser, and a 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo Bluetooth for your music on the go needs. Get ready to drop $150 and sign a two-year contract to get the new Sidekick ... which you can do immediately on sidekick.com or at a retail outlet. Meantime peep some pics, drool over the specs, and look out for my unboxing video.
