Verizon Wireless will be launching a new smartphone data plan to the tune of $29.99/mo for "unlimited" data access for Web and email, according to Boy Genius Report.  The new "Email and Web for Smartphone" plan should be available for three VZW smartphones starting today, April 14th.

The new plan supports push email delivery for personal accounts, but not corporate Exchange access - the latter is only available from VZW via Business-branded plans.  From the looks of the leaked internal document detailing the plan, the $29.99 price point is available for customers with a voice plan, while a data-only option may be available for $34.99/month.  But don't quote me on that - hopefully all will have been revealed by VZW by the time you've read this.
