Like everyone else I've got iPhone on the brain this week. So why fight it, right?
In even more iPhone news you didn't know you needed, a few reports have surfaced that Nintendo and Apple may be teaming up on iPhone games. While this sounds a little too good to be true, I've heard it from a few sources over the past two weeks (doesn't necessarily mean much), and it's all but confirmed that iPhone won't be shipping with any games. Rumors are centering on custom-developed games that will sell for a whopping $29 per title via the iTunes Store.
I'm betting against this one. But I'd imagine some kid of iPhone games are in the works -- hopefully ones that take full advantage of that multi-touch screen and maybe even the accelerometer. Given the success they've had with the DS and Wii, Nintendo would be a natural choice to develop some innovative titles for such an innovative piece of hardware. Still, I'll believe it when I see (and play) it.
