Even at the mid-range tier, there are quite a few devices worth looking at on AT&T.  One is the Sony Xperia ion, Sony's first 4G LTE device and the first US device under the new Sony branding.  Priced at $99.99 and available now at AT&T, ion sports a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S3 processor, 4.5-inch HD (720p) display, 12-megapixel camera with 1080p HD recording, a front-facing camera, 1,900 mAh battery, and Android 2.3 with Sony's Timescape UI.  According to Sony, it's "upgradeable to Ice Cream Sandwich."

The processor may be last-generation, but snagging an HD display and 4G LTE connectivity for under $100 isn't bad.  Is it worth considering over other sub-$100 devices like the Nokia Lumia 900?  Part 2 of 2.
